"Wow, you make being human sound pretty fun," Tyr admitted, "But there's lots of kinds of dragons too, and we're all different, even the same kinds of dragons and stuff. Thoooough..." Tyr returned the ball with a small grunt, sending it spinning expertly (and accidentally) in a way that would go away from Bellua then bounce back perfectly in her direction. "I gotta admit even I find it hard to think of life the same way you do. Maybe it's cause I live so long. I dunno. I'm impulsive, but I'm still a dragon, right?"
"I guess it helps that I'm one of the few dragons that actually know how to take a human form... That means I can experience all kinds of things humans can! Like swim parks that probably wouldn't allow me with scales, and trying on two swimsuits, and visiting guilds... oh! And actually seeing people's smiling faces! The stories I hear around here I bet if I showed up as a dragon they'd all be on edge and stuff."
"I just like talking about what I like!" Bellua responded chasing after the ball only to have it suddenly coming right at her. Bellua brought her racket up to serve back and smashed the ball with all her strength desperately trying to knock the ball into a proper flight path back at Tyr. Instead all she got was a whole lotta net as she wasn't able to give it enough height to sail over it. "Oh man." She gave a small whine before shaking her head and going to retrieve the ball. "Well everyone is an individual right? Not all of us humans think like this." She smirked proudly.
"Well you might be the only dragon I've ever met but I like you the best. I guess being able to turn human is something that a dragon wouldn't really 'need' anyways so totally understandable that it's not a common thing." She started to ramble giving a backhanded serve. "I and I guess that you might scare a few people, I heard something about dragons and people seem to try to avoid the subject when I ask so I guess either they're scared or they don't wanna relive it? or maybe they just don't wanna talk to me about it, that'd be rude. I mean I don't get along well with everyone but it's not like I go out of my way to be mean! Bet you they'd be nicer if I..." At this point Bellua descended into a bunch of unintelligible rambled murmurings that were less talking and more half murmured. words weren't even really complete. Well could you blame her? Yes, yes you could, I know I do. Jumping to conclusions like that.
"Well, not all dragons think like me either." Tyr didn't want to retrieve the ball, so when she very nearly missed it and let it go sailing past her, she caught it with her wind magic and sent it spiraling back with far more accuracy than with her novice racket abilities. "Actually a lot of dragons look down on my ability. I supposedly have a much more superior form or something and shouldn't want to change it?" she tilted her head and scratched her cheek questioningly.
"But that's silly and old thinking innit?" She giggled and used her wind magic again since she was concentrating on talking more. "I mean - oops I shouldn't be using my magic sorry! I mean I like getting to have hair and be considered cute instead of scary, right? We dragons might technically be superior and stuff but what good is that if you humans just want to use our hides as trophies. Um... humans don't actually do that though right? Because that would be sooo gross and creepy." Tyr just blinked as Bellua's own ramblings (were they talking at the same time? They were probably talking at the same time now) turned unintelligible even for her superior hearing. "Um, what?" she tilted her head the opposite way as before.
"Oh uh I guess I got carried away there for a bit huh? Umm people keep acting weird around the subject of dragons you know? It's really annoying actually people just don't want to talk much about it. So I often get stuck with half assed explanations like 'it doesn't really concern you.' or 'that part of our life is over now let it lie.' I mean I live here to right? I should be let in on the major, events especially since people seemed bothered by it. I only came here recently but my life is being affected as well it's not cool to leave me out of the loop." She complained not bothering to try and beat the magic enhanced ball back at Tyr.
"Uhh so I kinda got caught up in my own ramblings sorry about that," She said pausing to think about the conversation she was listening to but not paying attention to due to her own rambles. Agggh it was always so much harder remembering something she wasn't really paying attention to. Wait no, no, no, no, yessss, there we go. Dragon hides? What did she know about that? "Well I think we have some legends, humanity in general I mean my people didn't really pay attention to Dragons, mostly because we were to busy trying to not get conquered by valland but I rmemeber reading some books where hero's fought dragons threatening people and made weapons from their bodies. but it's not like we have any proof even if we wanted to I think it'd be really hard to do I mean forget about killing a dragon do we even have tools or magic that can help up make use of a dragons scales? I haven't heard of one. besides dragons are so powerful the human would have to be crazy strong to even bring one down. I think you're safe."
"Are they?" Tyr put a finger to her lower lip in thought. "I mean, I know people are afraid of dragons but I've never had anyone just not willing to talk about em..." By now Tyr had completely forgotten about the yellow ball and paid it no mind, even with her magic. She perked up, looking pleased with herself. "Maybe it's because I make such a cute human girl!" she decided, chuckling to herself as she made a little peace sign at Bellua. She'd been learning random hand gestures by watching children roughly the size of her human form. Maybe this was how you used it, who knew? Well, maybe Bellua knew, but half the fun was finding things out on her own.
Her face went from a large grin to a rather effective 'grumpy pout' as her dragon hide comment was, well, commented on. "I just think it's inhumane to harm thinking creatures is all. Humans shouldn't hurt dragons cause they're smart, but also dragons shouldn't hurt humans because they're also smart, and fragile and it just seems mean and stuff..."
"Maybe it is just me." Bellua complained dropping her racket with a disappointed sigh. She slapped he foot and the handle of the racket sending it spinning into the air catching it and swinging it around like it was a sword. "Maybe I was being over bearing." She blinked scratching her head with the racket, she took another look at Tyr and smiled back at her. "Ah yeh, Peace!" She said returning the sign happily before jabbing her toe into the ground as she thought about the situation. Then Tyr got all grumpy. Ahhh yeah pacifistic dragon, is it odd that, the phrase 'Pacifistic Dragon' seems like a massive oxymoron? Well each dragon had their own personality She guessed. Not all dragons needed to be the vicious powerhouse beasts of pure power in the stories she grew up with.
"Oh inhumane nice word choice there." Bellua giggled, before getting a sad look. "Well yeah getting hurt sucks, but a lot of people won't learn unless they get a smack on the head. I mean I lived in a pretty terrible place, not every thinking creature is nice. Overall though I think I agree with you, hurting things that haven't done anything to you is just mean. I mean I guess I'm not the best person around but I'm not evil just a bit of a jerk and overbearing sometimes." Bellua said conveniently omitting some of the other things she has done before. No need to bring that up right? She was better off not getting on the adorable dragons bad side. She rather liked being friends with her.
(this has been fun and unexpectedly long, but as I'm running out of ideas for this thread we should probably end it soon x3)
Tyr nodded in agreement as she picked up and stared at the yellow bouncy human sports ball. She gripped it in both hands as she thought for a moment. "Everyone can be mean sometimes, even if they don't mean to be," she admitted, looking up at Bellua with a curious expression. "Even dragons like me." Her expression broke into her signature adorably giant grin. "Sometimes I'm really annoying to my siblings, and I know I'm considered really weird to them, and not just to humans. Humans might actually understand my weirdness better," she chuckled, tossing the ball gently to Bellua.
"I think I'm tired of sports ball. Or uh... what was it called? Ten niece?" She shrugged to herself. Either way it had a weird name. "We should go to where you live so I can see what its like to sleep in a human bed!" she decided. "I am kinda tired. I haven't slept in..." she thought for a moment, "... I think three days. I was too busy exploring things and didn't think to... Heheh... whoops..." she scratched her cheek as a reddish blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Well I think people are basically good at heart and from what I see that's pretty much true so there's that." She said waving her racket back and forth before catching the ball tossed at her and taking her stuff back where the equipment was stored and putting it away. She grinned and clapped her hands together, hoping Tyr would toss her the racket so she could put it away. "You annoy your siblings? Hmph, you're not annoying at all I mean your young, there's gotta be a little leeway there right? I mean I'm an only child so I have no idea tat works but aren't siblings supposed to get along? I mean you're blood after all there should be some understanding right?" She asked pausing to scratching her head for a second.
"'Ten niece'? 'Sportsball'? Well Sportsball sounds awesome but ten niece? That's just funny a sport about having a bunch of nieces, I wanna see that now." She said breaking into a fit of unflattering giggles at the thought, wiping a tear from her eye. She gave a sigh and smile at Tyr, she was having fun sharing the world of humans with Tyr. "Alright toss me that racket, and I'll show you to a room, you can try out my guest bed. I own like a ton of pillows and blankets so I can share some with you!" She said happily, she had a bit of a hoarding problem sure but when you had nothing for so long and your suddenly allowed to have things you tended to go over board. A lot.
Tyr tossed Bellua the racket when she asked, commenting on some sport about ten nieces. Tyr tried to imagine as well, not quite understanding what she'd said before and thinking there was some sort of actual sport like that. Humans did breed far more quickly than dragons... Of course it hit her rather quickly that she'd completely misunderstood and laughed aloud at the fact that she'd very nearly believed said sport existed.
"Siblings almost always (but not quite always going by history) love each other, but if they're all like mine we tend to annoy each other a lot as well. Okay mostly I annoy them cause things don't bother me very often even when they're trying," She giggled to herself after that statement. I had been fun when her brother had gotten so frustrated because Tyr just didn't care that he was trying to bug her. "How many pillows and blankets to humans need? I want that many. Is it like four or seven or something?"

Bellua smiled at Tyr as she got the joke and tossed her the racket at Bellua. The Devil slayer caught the sports tool spun it around and put it away, she then spun on her heel and jogged over to Tyr. Long day full of conversations and discovery and now she was literally taking the most adorable dragon home with her for a sleep over. This was great, easily up there with one of her favorite days she's had since coming to fiore.
"Well aren't you just the cutest little mature thing then?" She said hugging Tyr tightly again before throwing a hand out pointing in the general direction of her apartment. "It's not really that far from here, let me show you my apartment, this'll probably be interesting because dragons probably don't do renting huh? Everyone you guys have is by your own power right? That must be pretty awesome." She said leading the way towards her home. "Oh well how much blankets you need depends on how comfortable you wanna be same with pillows it's different from person to person. I only need a single blanket and maybe two pillows but I end up using more because it feels soo much better."
"Soooooo... the more pillows and blankets the more comfortable?" Tyr giggled to herself. it seemed like having a bed made of blankets and pillows would be rather warm, but what did Tyr know? Bellua was the expert on a humans, after all. Comparatively, Tyr was basically a novice human. She didn't know all the things Bellua did, though sometimes that was entertaining. People's reactions could be funny. What sky dragon didn't adore fun reactions from people? Though, some dragons had different ideas of what fun reactions were... like her sisters. They would probably find humans being in shock or awe more fun.
"I'll take like seven of each then! Or fifteen!" She looked at Bellua as they walked. "How many can I have? What's comfortable? Are beds really so much more comfortable than normal? Normal being like, forests and stuff. Cause I like sleeping in trees is fun sometimes. Except when you fall out. I hit my head once doing that. Good thing I'm actually a dragon or that might have huuuuurt."

"Wellll~ it's different for every person buuuuut~ I think most people find it more comfortable to have more like me." Bellua declared happily as she lead Tyr to her house. They were really close to her house so she picked up the pace to hurry up. "Whoa, whoa there I don't have that many blankets and pillows, so I can't give you that many but I have enough for you to enjoy!" She said excitedly, her house was just up ahead so she grabbed Tyr's hand and picked up into a jog rushing to the door and retrieving the key from her leggings. She unlocked the door and planted her foot on the door practically kicking it open. "Woo~!" She cheered letting Tyr go and rushing inside. She rushed about the place, maneuvering around it's clutter confides with practiced ease as she made her way to the guest room and opening it up. In stark contrast to the rest of the house which was filled to the brim with boxes of various sizes, the room was essentially clean and tidy with everything a guest would need in order to relax. That being a bed! And a chair. Why didn't she use this room as storage? Bellua shrugged off the thought.
"Okaaay! This here is my guest room please make yourself at home, Oh! sorry about the mess I like to collect things try not to bump into any of the boxes some of my stuff is delicate, and I think a bunch of it is kinda dangerous." She said turning about to look at her guest, ohhh this was gonna be soo much fun! She didn't get visitors often enough, maybe if this became a regular thing she could clean up a bit have more people over. "Go ahead and hop in the bed if your tired Imma go grab some more blankets and pillows in case you want a whole bunch!" She said disappearing into the closet to get the goodies she had promised. "I did put them in here right?" She questioned herself putting her hands on her hips. "Okay so, I put them all the way in the back now I need to move this~ oh why didn't I leave them at the front?"
Tyr pondered the nature of blankets while Bellua talked about how she didn't have as many blankets as the dragon had mentioned. Which was fine, she was just naming random numbers after her second suggestion. She didn't know how many to ask for, after all! She always slept outside. As a dragon, she considered a soft patch of grass to be all she needed. Sometimes she slept in a particularly comfortable tree. But this... she wondered what a bed would be like. Hopefully it didn't spoil her. She giggled to herself at the thought. Dragons were easily spoiled, but she should be fine as long as she was aware of it, right?
Tyr was literally about an inch away from touching something that was probably rather breakable when Bellua asked her to be careful. The young dragon froze. She really really wanted to touch it. It looked so smooth. Her eyes popped open wide. "No worries! Dragons are always careful. Except when they're not which isn't now," she gave a big, wide grin before yawning. "Yeah it's been awhile since I slept and getting to play with such a fun human made me pretty tired." She yawned again. Sleeping would probably keep her from touching the things she wanted to touch so badly. "Goodnight, new friend Bellua~" she then crawled on the bed as Bellua left. By the time she returned, the young dragon was asleep on top of the blankets... sideways. At least she was comfortable.

Whenbak she as treated to an adorable sight Tyr was asleep on top of the blankets. Bellua sighed and shook her head and took a softer comforter and laid it over the tiny dragon and left the other blankets and pillows on the floor in case she woke up later. The Sabertooth mage grinned and left the room closing the door softly. She had gotten all excited and forgot how tired Tyr was, well at least now she was getting some sleep. If she wanted to hang out more then she'd be there when she woke up. Either way she was glad she made a new friend, she didn't really understand her guildmates and apparently her personality was really hard to deal with, she was kinda lonely if she was honest.
"Good night everyone!" She said getting ready for bed slipping into pajamas and curling up in her own fluffed up bed, so many pillows! She was soo happy! It only took a few moments before Bellua to fell asleep and drifted off into dreamland enjoying the comfyness of her bed, soo many pillows and blankets. She was so happy about her bed. She could sleep for hours, if it wasn't so wasteful to do. Goodnight, tomorrow is a new day after all!
