Bellua smiled and waited patiently as the tiny dragon explained the process in a way that went over her head ad the simile seemed to get away from her. Still it was nice to hear her talk about how she used her magic. She had always wanted to be that in tune with her own she had made most of her spells extensions of her own body for that reason alone. She had enough time to dwell on those things later thought right now she had a pool to jump into! She leaped into the pool sinking into the water, lukewarm felt cool after being in the heat. She shivered underneath the water and rose to the top turning towards Tyr, she had to make sure she didn't drown. She wouldn't want her to drown and being the first dragon in written history to drown would be embarrassing.
"Come on in the water is fine, a bit cold for a second but it's alright after a bit. Let's get aquinted with the pool before we try the other stuff!" She laughed splashing a bit of water in Tyr's direction, it was nice to let loose once in a while. "You look pretty confident, I'm not scared either if you can't swim there me and several life guards on duty to help out. You'll be fine so come on let's have some fun already."
There were two lifeguards on either side of the pool and she noticed that there were several people wearing those weird pins that signal a person was approved for CPR maybe they were staff? Well they could always be volunteers helping out it probably didn't matter though. Well at least to her it didn't she was just happy to be at the pool having fun with her new friend. She couldn't wait to do something else as well. Maybe they should hit a music shop after food?
Well then, this was a pleasant turn of events. As it turned out, Tyr's human form did, in fact, know how to swim. It seemed to come with an assortment of pre-learned abilities that most humans had to learn as babies or children. Really, it was all rather handy because she'd already had to learn to talk and things as a dragon, and learning everything twice would have been a bummer. Though, she was coming to think her human form was adorable and almost preferred to spend time in it. It helped that she felt like less of a runt compared to humans in her body's age range than she did as a dragon.
At any rate, Tyr had cannonballed into the water before Bellua had even finished telling her to get into the water. The resulting splash seemed to get more people wet than one would normally expect from someone of her size and weight. The reason was, she'd used wind magic to help herself jump further out into the water, and that same wind magic had propelled a splash out all the way to the life guards.
For a brief moment, she wondered if she could swim, but the next thing she knew, her head was above the water, and her awkward human limbs were paddling gracefully in the water. A large, happy grin erupted on her face. "See?! I told you dragons don't drown," she giggled as she swam closer to Bellua. "This is much warmer than a river@ I haven't swam in a river as a human cause it's easier as a dragon when I'm alone, but this just feels warmer, even though it also smells like weird chemicals," she rambled.
Tyr took a deep breath, popping under the water again. The chemicals weren't so bad she couldn't open her eyes, and it wasn't exactly hard to find Bellua's legs. She swam over like a shark before her arms clamped down on the blond's leg. She tugged suddenly as she tried to pull her under water. Whether it succeeded or not, she popped back up as she took a deep breath, laughing the entire time. "You know..." she mused once she finished laughing. "I bet I could spend a ton of time under water. I'm great with air related things!"

Bellua shielded her eyes from Tyr's aquatic devastation, the little dragon created a splash that the devil slayer was more than a little unprepared for. Still she stood fast in the wake of this waterborne attack, dauntless in the face of adversity! Well it was really just a bit surprising to be caught off guard like that, but how totally boring would it be to put it simply like that? She giggled in response to being splashed, spreading the water away from her face. the chlorine, not too strong but still present meant that this was a clean pool which was good because she
"It is warmer isn't it? I like how after you've been in for a while it feels like you're enveloped in a warm soup, oh wait that's a bad analogy isn't it? Well I guess I'll roll with it, Warm soup isn't too hot, and it feels good rolling own your throat. It warms you up so nicely, you could either go to sleep or stay wide awake either way it's so nice~" She rambled back at Tyr opening her eyes and looking for the now absent dragon. "Wait? Where did you go-Blurburgle!" Bellua's eyes widened as she was pulled under the water by the mischievous little dragon. Oh ho~ so she was playing tricks already was she?
Bellua burst from under the water spitting out the small amount that got in her mouth sticking out her tongue her fast twisting in disgust. "Eww the chlorine makes it taste weird, bleh!" She spat she couldn't use her hand to wipe the taste out her mouth with the pool water all over her hands. "That was sneaky of you, Tyr! I can't believe it!" She said with mock anger in her voice pulling Tyr into a tight hug. "I bet you could stay under there for a while, but I'd have to hold my breath the whole time no way to get myself more air with my powers." She sighed putting on a depressed face for a second before brightening up again. "You're lucky I bet you being a dragon and all gives you an advantage even just holding your breath. Legendary creatures get all the cool perks."
Bellua weighed her payback options, there were plenty of things she could do but the more she thought about it, this was going to escalate wasn't it? While teasing others might be fun... Tyr admitted to being pretty young for a dragon, Bellua got the feeling she wasn't going to win a prank war with the tiny dragon, but it was soo tempting!

Tyr laughed at Bellua's comment about the chlorine. "I told you it was like nasty chemicals. But humans like their stuff clean and it does the trick," she chuckled. She only looked more proud at Bellua's insistence that she couldn't believe Tyr was so sneaky. "I'm the sneakiest~" she told Bellua in a singsong voice. "That makes stuff like this fun!"
Bellua eventually concluded the same thing Tyr had - that the young dragon could stay under water longer than a normal human could. "Well, I'd have to use my wind magic," she reiterated to Bellua. "Because I don't have dragon lungs in human form, and this human body is even tinier than my dragon one, heheh. But hey, let me show you something cool!"
With a small waving of her hands, Tyr weaved a spell around Bellua. "Go under water and start holding your breath!" She should theoretically be able to operate longer underwater with the help of the spell. "This sort of stuff is what friends are for~"

"Well yeah getting sick totally sucks. Colds are so annoying and worse ones can even kill us. Nothing about diseases is pleasant." Bellua waved her hands while sticking out her tongue, oh there was so many things wrong with getting sick she didn't even want to think about most of it. "You're right being sneaky is fun." She crossed her arms and nodded to herself confidently. "Imma totally get you back for that though, you better watch out~" She giggled deciding that she was probably going to try something later, just needed to figure out what, what should she- oh wait Tyr is doing something.
"Is this going to be some kind of spell to help me breathe under there? With your tiny human lungs you'd need something like like an air bubble or maybe- aaah screw it Imma just do as you said kay?" She finished before she went on another tangent, breathing deeply before bring her arms up to send herself underwater. So Tyr cast a spell on her to help her hold her breath longer? She wasn't sure how that was supposed to work, magical bubble of air? Was she feeding air somehow? Oh the questions she had. This was so exciting!
She opened her eyes under water pumping her arms upwards to keep herself down under the water, it was always fun to swim she wished she got to do it more often. It felt so good to be completely enveloped in the warm water, it was great so comfortable she could fall asleep here. Though holding her breath wasn't fun, the strain of her lungs was uncomfortable and made her feel like she was fighting again. She didn't like having her head engulfed without access to air, it was so well there isn't a better word for it distressing.
At least Bellua was doing what Tyr had asked; it didn't take long for her to realize though - Bellua was doing it wrong. With a chuckle, Tyr cast the same spell on herself and plopped down in the water. She still couldn't talk under water, but she could mime things, so mime things she did. She made motions that were supposed to mean 'breath.' The spell was there to help her suck up the air in the water kind of like a fish, after all, and holding her breath wouldn't be any better.
She swam over to Bellua, doing a quick circle around her before pointing to the surface and going back up. "Silly, Bellua," she chuckled, "I told you it'd be fun if you do it right~" she took a moment to adjust her bathing suit. "Also, I think I like this 'bikini' thing human girls wear. It seems like it'd be a lot better for swimming than my tunic, at least while I'm in human form. Whiiiich I always am around humans. I have such a cute face after all."

Bellua stared incredulously at Tyr as she tried to communicate with her under the water, she almost sighed but she wasn't about to let the only air she had in her lungs go so easily, wait no she was trying to tell her something. Awkward swimming? No something to do with lungs? Was she telling her to drown? She did not bring Tyr to the pool to drown. Bellua opened her mouth to stat this and acccidently let the air out doing so. Crap body taking over, lung filling with water gotta get to the surf- wait. She could breathe! Bellua blinked as she breathed deeply she wasn't drowning! Air being strained from the water! Yay! She can breathe underwater!
"I would've like a warning you were giving me the ability to breath under water!" She said wrapping her arms around Tyr again, what? Don't give me that look she is adorable! "Ooh yeah 'bikini's' don't drag too much, but be careful they have a reputation of coming off a bunch. They also draw more attention, and why should we deny the public your adorable face~!" She said taking Tyr by the hand. "Let's go down the water slide!" She said excitedly come on it'll be fun I promise I love the water slide!" She chattered excitedly she was having too much fun to keep any composure Maybe she should ask some of her guild mates for a day at the beach. Ohh that had potential.
"Well yeah but you had to hold your breath for just a moment while the magic adjusted to the water, you see," she shrugged. "I mean, it's magic, why wouldn't it be something cool?" she giggled as she was pulled into a hug. Hugs were slippery when wet. Like the ground, but with more people involved. Had she been like anyone else in the universe she might have had more of an opinion in any sort of way.
She made a mental note to make sure the bikini was tied properly. It would make the humans nervous if her strip of cloth went away for some reason, so she supposed that would be a pretty bad thing. She was trying to put humans at ease! That was why she'd learned to take a human form in the first place. Though, the more she learned the more she kind of just plain liked spending time as a human girl anyway. "I'll make sure no thin strips of cloth that barely matter anyway don't disappear, got it human coach!" she saluted as they got out and moved towards the water slide. No, she hadn't meant to sound awkward with that. Yes, she did tend to state her thought process aloud at times.
When they got to the slide there was a fair bit of a line, though it moved quickly. "I've jumped down waterfalls before. Is it sort of like that except gentler?" Tyr asked. "Actually admittedly it was less jumping and more flying in my dragon form. Flying straight down is fun though. You know, when there's no smashing into the ground at the end."

"O-oh human coach?" Bellua repeated a blush appearing on her face, she didn't think she was that helpful, just sort of doing what was right by the adorable little dragon, still that Tyr looked up to her was really flattering. She was kinda used to people looking at her only seeing what use they could get out of her, but tyr was just so innocent when she said something like that. Oh Bellua just wanted to pack her up and take her home with her! "I'm happy to help!" She replied, a bigger smile following her statement. She wasn't a role model, but a coach? She could do that, she knew how to act completely normal she just chose not to. "If you're curious about something I'll be happy to explain it. Best I can, no bullshit. It's a promise! Though maybe we should wait until we're not talking about how to pass for a average person around a bunch of them."
"It's kinda like that except the impact with the water doesn't hurt much and the rides a bit quick, but I here they have bigger ones in the pools in the bigger cities in central Fiore, I also heard that there was this big amusement park island that has this special one powered by magic and you ride in the large sponges as the go through all the twists and turns" She said moving her hands up and down and in circles as she described it. "I heard it was pretty expensive to go there though... I'll have to save up to get in but it'll be worth it." She decided, she didn't normally make plans and this wasn't really an exception it wasn't like she was planning a specific date for it or anything. She was a bit noncommittal. "If you want to visit a human amusement park some time I'll take you along with me sound good?" She asked Tyr as their turn finally came up. Bellua sat down a bit away from the edge and waved Tyr over to sit in front of her. Outright ignoring the stink eye the guy charged with making sure people followed the rules was giving her. Well until he cleared his throat to get her attention.
"Miss you're not suppose to go down two at a time." He started saying, god his voice was annoying mostly because he was telling her that she couldn't do what she wanted. It's not like either Her were in any danger Tyr was a dragon for goodness sake and she was tougher than mister 'follow the rules' here.
"Oh come on it'll be fine, if you get in trouble just tell your boss I hit you~" She said with a wink in his direction, she couldn't just cause a scene but damn it if she wasn't getting her way on this. "No one listens to that rule anyways and I haven't heard of anyone getting hurt, relax big guy everything is going to be fine~" She said trying to soothe his fears while waving at Tyr again.
Tyr sat down happily, not really pausing for the protesting human boy. He wasn't as old as Bellua, so she had seniority anyway, the way she saw it. She sat there in front of Bellua, looking very much like a clueless child waiting for some sort of resolution before going down the slide. She quickly ran out of patience for the man, though - it was their turn at the slide if he wanted them to take one by themselves they could come back and do that!
"Whoop~" she stated in a singsong voice as she caused a small gust of air to start herself and the blond on a downward descent on the man-made swirly waterfall. They were moving fast, a lot like sliding down a waterfall would be like without the added effect of flying in a downward direction to add speed. Tyr was making the customary human shouts to show she was having fun, even putting her hands in the air as she went down essentially in Bellua's lap.
They could go faster. Tyr knew they could go faster because she was a sky dragon, and that meant she knew a lot about speed and control of said speed. A normal human might not be able to safely, but her? Psh. Why was she even debating with herself. Tyr waggled her arms and suddenly her wind magic was carrying them like, unrealistically fast. Amazingly, they stayed on the slide completely within the parameters, speed aside. When they hit the water, they practically scooted straight over it, waves splashing everyone around them. By the time they stopped, Tyr had brought them to a gentle standing stop about twenty feet from the pool where they were supposed to stop.
"Woo!" Tyr grabbed Bellua's hand and hopped up and down excitedly. "These sorts of things are so much more fun with friends! This is totally why I like making friends with humans. They're not afraid to do exciting things sometimes! Also they're social. Mahn it's fun to do social things!"

Bellua wasn't expecting Tyr to give them a boost of speed, why didn't she ask her to!? This was great! They were going so fast! Gave herself to the moment throwing her arms to the air and whooping with Tyr. Then they hit the pool and they skidded across the water, skidding across the water felt weird but not bad. Oh wow this was so cool!, she was so glad she brought Tyr along she just made this water slide even more fun. She just up and made it more fun! And the finish! A gentle standing stop out of the pool? Tyr had some style, she was going to grow up into an even more awesome dragon wasn't she?
"That was so awesome!" She said with a small jump, and a near miss almost slipping. "I mean I totally love the water slide but I never got to skip over the water like that and now we are here on the other side of the pool! We went far!" She giggled as Tyr hopped up and down holding her hand. Aw hell she couldn't resist it either, and gave a few small hops with her. "I'm glad that we met it's been so fun, today has been great!" She exclaimed flashing a smile at Tyr. Today had been rather fast pace, she hadn't even seen tyr in her real form not that she minded her human form not when it was so cute. She could always see it later, right now they were having fun at the pool.
Well now that she was running of the elation of that thrill ride she smiled back at Tyr. "Well not all of us are like that, and some of us are a bit crazy and or weird." She giggled before hugging Tyr tightly. "and back in we go!" She said dragging Tyr into the water. Well she just started this, was Tyr the competitive type? That'd be cool, water wars were also fun. Bellua disengaged from Tyr and swam away to grab a nearby water noodle. Time to work up that appetite!
Tyr chuckled again as she stopped bouncing. "Of course it's been fun! I have fun every day no matter what it takes!" she gave a small peace sign to Bellua, continuing to look incredibly pleased with herself the entire time. "And you know, being a human just makes it easier. I Dragons just aren't built for fun, let me tell you," she looked at her hands and wiggled her fingers as if she were looking at claws. "And what we are made for I'm noooooot the biggest fan of. You know, outside the awesome magic, the immortality, and the flying."
Yeah, she was a really odd dragon. Even she could see that as she waded back into the pool. She was brought out of yet another rant when she realized Bellua was distracted by grabbing a noodle of some sort. She subtly used wind magic to pull one to herself, giggling quietly to herself as she dived under the water, forcing the noodle under with her despite the difficulty in doing so. She popped up in front of Bellua again. "Gotcha!" she booped Bellua with the noodle rather gently all things considered; she didn't actually like to hit things after all.
Post by Bellua Daemon on Aug 26, 2015 14:14:48 GMT
Bonk, the wet water noodle smacked against her face, causing her to giggle as she wiped the water from Tyr's noodle out of her eyes. She gave Tyr a confident smile and drew her noodle to bear, holding it forwards like a limp sword. "You realize of course my adorable little friend, that this means war!" She declared, softly whacking Tyr in the side with her noodle weapon. "En garde!" she announced her next move trying to bop Tyr on the head. The noodles were too soft to hurt much even if she swung hard, the noodle would just bend away from whatever she hit with it so she wasn't worried about Tyr or herself hurting each other.
"I'm glad you're having fun being human, though believe you me I am so jealous about you being able to fly as you please. I only have one spell that let's me fly and using it isn't easy or even a good idea all the time. Oh if I used it right now I would be in so much pain, I hate how incompatible my magic is with the pool. But that doesn't matter I'm really happy you like being a human, I mean being a dragon must be awesome but that you enjoy being human like this makes me glad that at least we're lots of fun." She rambled off again, she was totally listening to Tyr she was just a bit preoccupied by trying to have some more fun is all that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Tyr's eyes went wide, the noodle smacking her square between the eyes. It didn't hurt in the slightest, but it did get her hair wet again. "Heeey! I already got you!" she giggled, bopping Bellua yet again, this time much harder. It didn't matter; The noodle seemed completely incapable of harming anyone, at least as a bludgeoning weapon.
The sky dragon couldn't help but laugh as she took yet another noodle to the side of the head. "You know, some dragons teach humans magic. If I knew how to teach anyone my magic I'd totally help you learn stuff that would enhance your pool fun!" she declared. "Buuuut no idea. I'm not much of a teacher," she giggled.
"Humans aren't every dragon's cup of tea~" the green haired girl admitted as she deflected a noodle swing with her own noodle, which caused her own noodle to slip from her grasp and hit someone on the other end of the pool. "Whoops," she covered her mouth and giggled. "But I think you're all so fascinating and fantastic!"
"Learning a new magic would be cool! I wonder what magic I would use I mean wind is fun but I also think water magic tends to be cool I've seen a bunch of really cool magics oh the possibilities." Bellua replied tossing the noodle over her head, and putting her head on her hand. "I heard archive magic was useful and stuff, though it sounded a bit boring to be honest... No wait I'll question the future later right now I'm enjoying the pool. so what do you think, see anything you wanna try while here or are you feeling hungry?" She asked Sliding up to Tyr with sly smile on her face.
She had a habit of doing as she pleased when she pleased, but it was usually alone. Most people didn't really care for her 'lackadaisical' attitude, however she just didn't like not doing things for herself. Sure enjoying herself was her top priority, sure maybe she wasn't the nicest person around, and sure maybe she cared about as much for the law as some dark guild members. HOWEVER! yes there is some decent things to point out. Shut up this has a point I swear. however, she wasn't overly mean to anyone unless they messed with her stuff. right now she was about as happy a girl as she could be, the only thing on her mind was fun. Tyr was the crowning jewel of cuteness in her collection of interesting people. (It's not called her collection of friends because not everyone she counts in it likes her all that much. Shhh! they're still on it.) "I'm soo happy~"
