"Oh god can we? I just can't stand doing nothing, if nothing is going on I might as well not be awake to not miss anything, you know what I'm saying? Oh, and posturing is. 'to act in a way specifically meant to impress others', we humans do it a lot. it's pretty cool to have someone think you're awesome, but I don't think a dragon would need to do it, considering you know, being Dragons, kinda awesome by default there. Anyways yeah, I would love to find something to do with you, it'd be fun. And unless you wanna sleep au naturel, I could totally give you a bed to use, my apartment is a bit bigger than I thought so I have some extra room if you need it." Bellua replied rapid fire, waving a chicken leg in a circle as she rambled. She paused glancing down at the leg and took another bite, Belfyire sounded kinda cool, Tyr, Belfyire, those names sound really awesome in her opinion wonder if they meant anything.
"It's not late juuuust yet, we have some time one last event in the day before we need to go home. There's so much to do, meeting new people, fighting bad guys, discovering news places and things, or uncovering the old ones. Endless possibilities, and we got some food in our stomachs so we're good on fuel." Bellua stopped and thought about the day she had it was sometime after noon when they met? She wasn't entirely sure on that one but yeah they had a bit of time left in the day. "What do you think should we just head outside and see what we can do? I bet we can find something pretty cool if we go out and look. I have been known to fine myself in some pretty abnormal situations myself, must have some kind of luck to keep meeting the interesting people I do." She finished the leg and tossed the bone onto her plate and crossed her arms and gave a confident nod. Today was a good day.
"Au naturel?" Tyr placed a finger on her chin. She had to think for a minute to see if she knew what that human word meant. Oh, right! "Um... why would I do that?" she asked, genuinely curious. "Do humans do that? I get that dragons and animals and stuff do, but..." She blinked as her brain turned back to reality (as much as it ever did) and she looked back at Bellua once more. "Well if you don't want me to do the thing I wasn't going to do that sounds simple enough. And I might get to try a bed! I always find spots in the woods and stuff to sleep since I don't have money. I hear beds are the best to sleep on! At least-" she pinched her own cheeks and pulled at them a bit as an illustration "-in squishy adorable human form."
The young dragon stuck out her tongue, looking playful yet again. She was full too, and more than ready to go for a few more hours. She hopped up, more than ready to go. In fact, she was already leading the way out the door again. "Yeah! We can go looking for things! Though I'm not really into the fighting thing. I don't like to hurt intelligent creatures, see, also do you have more than one bed? I know some humans share but I'm pretty sure that its only the young ones and the ones that are mates. Humans confuse me. They also intrigue me a ton. Sometimes I think I should have been one, but I kinda like the ability to not be one when I feel like it."

"Wha? Well most human's can't shape shift unless you mea- oh the clothes thing. Whoops well I guess it's not really important right?" Bellua waved it off They weren't going to bed yet anyways. "Alright fine, we don't have to beat up bad guys, and Yeah I totally have two beds, the place I'm renting was meant for two people so there are a few bedrooms. You're right though couples and children tend to be the only who share beds. Close friends as well but I think that's rarer, we humans are kinda guarded that way. That is the way you say that right? Guarded? or was it prudish?" Bellua bounced a few words off the walls in her head before giving up board by the line of thinking.
"I think beds are awesome, so comfy but dangerous feel so good you don't want to get out of it. But a days where you do nothing is a day wasted so I have good motivation to not stayed passed out in my bed all day like some kind of lazy anger ogre." She said getting up and following Tyr to the door. "Well you do seem pretty human like, I think you make a great human, and being able to stop being one whenever you want? Well that's just icing on the cake if you ask me, go ahead and make human friends I mean we don't live as long as you but we'll happily stay your friend regardless." She said patting the tiny dragon in human form on the head. "So am I following your lead this time? Sounds good to me lead the way Tyr, I trust."
What wasn't really important? Tyr was confused, but then humans were a confusing species. She was fascinated by them, but largely because she'd mostly spent her time around other dragons for her first three hundred years. She knew little about them and understood less, beyond things like how squishy humans felt, which she thought of as she poked at her own cheek while Bellua spoke. She spoke up after her question about prudish humans. "Me and my siblings basically slept on top of each other before they decided to go off on their own," she admitted. "Mamma kept to herself generally though, so I guess dragons are similar but different that way," she chuckled.
"Yeah I guess if you didn't live thousands of years you'd feel preeeeetty motivated not to stay in bed. I'm just too restless to do so, though I don't think it'd be a big deal if I got stuck in a bed for awhile," she stuck out her tongue playfully as she pondered the idea. As usual, though, Bellua didn't give her too much time to ponder. "I really make a great human?" she asked, tilting her head questioningly. "I mean, I guess. I am a pretty adorable human girl huh?" she twirled around, looking at herself thoughtfully. "Plus some humans are weird so I guess being a little odd doesn't actually stick out that much."
She was more than willing to lead the way, though she had no idea where she was going. She'd see something, and she'd definitely stop to investigate whatever it was she was destined to see in the future! "Okay, no more wasting time! Let's go see what's out there!"

"I can't wait, to get going~" Bellua smiled as she listened to Tyr's explanation, maybe the main difference between dragons and human's behaviors were perspective? Tyr's responses seemed the be very similar to human behavior, well yeah it was different but still it was close enough. Bellua nodded as Tyr made the natural response to the whole staying in bed thing. She wasn't going to live as long as Tyr was so she couldn't waste her days by sleeping like some sort of bear hibernating entire hours away without doing anything. No way she could waste her time by sleeping for so long.
"Yeah Let's go see what we can find! I can't wait to see what's going to pop up I love doing this, I often get lost just to see what will happen, I pack a backpack full of food and pick a direction and just go until I no longer know where I am, it's awesome. and yes you are an adorable human girl, and yeah some of us are pretty weird you don't stick out too much I mean lots of people have magic as well so it's not too uncommon for a adorable girl with weird personality and phenomenal cosmic powers to be hanging around I'm sure of it." She insisted grinning as she shadowed Tyr out of the guild hall. "I can't wait~"
The "Adorable human girl" with the green hair happily led the way through the streets, walking backwards at times, other times properly, always dodging any person in the way with relative ease. The entire time she jabberedd about random ideas that were going through her head and how they'd probably be fun - everything from trying human games to visiting the human market to see what fun things there were to look at.
"I know!" Tyr finally settled on an idea. "I think there's a um... ball... place somewhere I passed when I was escaping that one guy who I ate his food earlier..." Tyr grinned. "You know! There's a net in the middle and things to hit the bouncy yellow balls with!" She seemed rather excited thinking about it. "I've never played any human games like that before. It seems like it'd be fun, but it's even hard for a dragon to play on her own you know."

Bellua danced through people keeping a close tail on Tyr, she's actually hard to keep up with. How she flowed through everyone dodging gracefully and keeping just out of reach of Bellua. She was putting a lot of effort into just tailing her. She was having a lot of fun. Even just explaining things to her was fun, well even if she didn't know every little thing she was curious about. It was so much fun to explain things to her, how often was it to be able to give information to a dragon rather than have them talk to you?
"Net? Yellow balls and things to hit them with? Ping pong? Errr, wait no Tennis! I think no mention of a table so it must be Tennis. Cool I haven't played Tennis either. This should be fun, lead the way I wanna try it out to! Come on I heard a lot about tennis it's not complicated I heard but I wasn't told the rules either." She gave a sheepish look as, she thought about it. "Oh well there was someone who would be able to tell us the rules nearby anyways I'm sure of it. We should be fine either way, ohh I can't wait."
"Er, yeah Tennis sounds right!" Tyr had no idea if that was right. But the word seemed to fit what she saw the people doing with the ball. "We don't really have to know how to play do we?" Tyr shrugged. Not that she minded asking. "I mean, we can both just make stuff up where we don't know things and as long as we agree we can both have fun!" She giggled to herself as the pair of them arrived at the tennis courts.
Tyr found where they had public tennis balls and rackets to use, which was probably a program that wouldn't last too long considering how easy it would be just to take the items home, but for now it was super convenient to the pair who didn't have their own gear. "Ooh this feels like it will be even more fun in person!" she declared, swinging the item in her hands more like an ax than a piece of sports equipment and watching it like a cat watching a string.
She'd given Bellua the ball to start off, considering she was the human who knew human things better, even if she wasn't an expert, herself. "Okay!" she spun around, her tunic dress catching in the wind a bit as she did so and flaring up. "I'm soooo ready!"
Post by Bellua Daemon on Sept 23, 2015 14:31:15 GMT
"You're ready? Awesome let's go!" Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, Bellua bounced the yellow ball in her left hand, and spun the racket in her right hand. She was only mimicking what she saw other people do, but it was pretty fun just emulating the movements. Okay so after a few bounces you took cupped you hand under the ball as it rose and lifting it so it never went down and tossed it into the air. She raised her racket and swung it full force at the ball as it came back down. it went all the way down bounced against the ground at her feet and smacked back into her gut.
"OW!" She stumbled trying to catch the ball before it hit the ground. "Oops looks like I hit it waaay too hard." She gave a sigh rubbing her body. Well she better try that again. She hit it at an awkward angle, that's not gonna happen again. "One more go!" She said bouncing the ball back up repeating her movements before spinning the racket and smacking the ball towards Tyr. Wait, she hit it? She was just showing off but wow she really could do it if she tried! She was pretty happy with herself, now for the point of the game, she assumed. Tyr was gonna hit it back and she was to hit it back at her until one of them messed up. Seemed easy enough.
Tyr watched Bellua curiously as she bounced and failed to serve the ball. She might have laughed if Bellua hadn't hit herself and expressed pain. Instead, she watched quietly, enthralled by the prospect of starting the game like a cat watching a laser pointer, only instead of a laser it was a yellow bouncy ball. She was still holding the racket wrong; no one had corrected her and since only the two of them were there that probably wasn't going to change unless she needed to.
She let out a cheer when Bellua hit the ball. It was moving quickly, but to the reflexes of the sky dragon, it was like it was moving extremely slow. She watched it, wiggling once again like a cat before she jumped at the ball, actually managing to smack it with the side of the racket first try! It did cause the ball to not go the direction she would have liked though, and it flung back over the net away from Bellua rather than towards her (as far as she knew you were supposed to hit the ball to one another).
"Whoop! I'll try to hit it better next time! These net swords are so hard to hit the ball with!" She chuckled before realizing Bellua had been holding the racket differently. "Ohhh!" she switched up the racket and tried swinging it where the net would hit the ball. "These things are shaped funny. I like them!"

Bellua stared as the ball flew out of her range and just stared at the ball feeling a bit disappointed, she was all for the ball coming back at her but she supposed that they each got some free mistakes they could make. She walked over to the ball and picked it up tossing it in her hand as she strolled, she smiled and waved at Tyr with the ball in her hand and went back to her serving spot. She repeated her movements from before. All right this should be fun right? They knew what they were doing now, okay here goes nothing.
"I think these 'net swords' are called Rackets, and you're right, they are kinda hard to use aren't they? Allright let's try this again, here we go!" She said tossing the ball up and smacking it serving it at Tyr, She picked herself up and prepared to serve the ball that would certainly be coming back at her back to Tyr. Tyr was a fast learner it should be coming right? She was having a lot of fun, tennis was pretty fun when you weren't beating yourself with the ball. Or having the ball fly out of her reach without her being able to chase it. Discount those things and it was pretty cool to smack a ball back and forth until one of them slipped up. Playing a sport just for fun it was awesome.
Tyr still had no idea what she was doing; for all she knew her goal was to hit the ball so that Bellua could hit it back, and she played accordingly. Despite being a slightly confused young dragon, she caught on rather quickly, and soon her net sword racket (it didn't make a racket, what? Fiorian was hard) was swinging through the air with an unnatural speed and accuracy, only for her to hit the ball at almost the perfect speed and angle for Bellua to be able to return it in this strange game of tennis catch.
"Humans come up with the weirdest games!" Tyr called out from her end of the court. "This sort of thing is why you're all so interesting! No matter how intelligent we dragons are we don't come up with such interesting ways to pass the time normally. Dragons don't have net swords or spoorts (yes she pronounced sports wrong), or interesting ways to cook meats or ways of making themselves look different that doesn't involve magic like you do with this soft fluffy hair," she nodded to herself, poking at her ponytail while absentmindedly returning the ball every time it was sent to her side of the court. "Oh, I only meant to comment on the games, heheh."

Tyr was making this game hard, oh yeah she served it so Bellua could serve it back but this nonstop returns, they were tiring eventually she'd slip up simply because she was tired. Not that she wasn't having fun, she as, it was eat, but still tiring Tyr looked fine. Figures she was a dragon, she was probably going to be able to keep his up far longer than Bellua could. That was a strange mixture of annoying and awesome, it was kinda fun in it's own way. Like how long cold she keep it up? She was stronger than the average person, she was pitting herself against a Dragon her at tennis! Well sure she was a young dragon and neither of them have played this human sport before but still! Human vs dragon in a match to see where the stood in he rankings of this game and, oh my god was Tyr still sending the ball back at her?
"I'm not arguing with you there, we have a smaller scale version o this called ping pong that's done on a table, it gets pretty intense!" Bellua replied serving the ball back to Tyr. She grinned as Tyr called humans interesting, it was boosting her pride, compliment from a dragon wasn't something that came often. "I like hearing your opinions, I mean dragon probably don't need this kinda stuff I guess if I had to choose I'd probably stick to being human but I'm still totally jealous of the dragons. You're still awesome, even if I kinda refer being human. You'd probably say the same right?" She asked giggling. "You're better at this than I thought you'd be it's kinda hard keeping up with you." She panted out the last sentence as she cashed the ball and sent it back at the tiny dragon. "We're doing pretty good for two girls who never played this game before don't ya think?"

"Of course I prefer being a dragon," Tyr decided as she continued absently hitting the ball; she'd stopped paying attention while her dragon reflexes took care of it. Tyr was social enough that anything else she was doing could easily take a back seat to whatever it was she was talking about. "I mean, I like living a long time and seeing how things change, and I like not getting sick and having claws and stuff." Tyr finally missed the ball, though it was likely because she didn't even swing that time. "If I was a human like you I bet you'd be a lot less interesting. Well not you you're awesome but humans in general cause I'd understand you better. Also I wouldn't even be alive right now, and that's weird to think about considering I'm just a dragon kid, you know?"
Tyr blinked as she realized the ball wasn't being sent back to her because she'd completely got absorbed into her answer and forgotten she was on a tennis court. "Whoop! I get a liiiiittle absorbed in my thoughts sometimes!" The wind kicked the ball back to Tyr, who quickly served the ball yet again. "So um, why do you prefer to be a human and stuff?" Tyr asked, honestly wanting to know her thoughts. "I mean, I do really like your soft clothes even if I think your reason for wearing them is weird, and I like hair, especially mine when I'm playing human girl, and um, that my human form is all soft and cute and tiny which is different than being a girl dragon, cause ones that aren't runts like me tend to be bigger than male dragons and stuff."
"Not getting sick would be cool, I hate getting colds." Bellua asserted tossing her racket into the air and catching it on her finger trying desperately to balance it on her finger after Tyr stopped returning the ball. She was catching her breath thankful for the sudden respite from what felt like an eternity, She giggled at tyr saying that human's would be a lot less interesting if she was one. "Oh probably, but there's so any kinds of humans. I mean normally we're kinda boring, kinda samey when out in public, but we get so different when you get to talk on us one on one. At lest that's why I like people, even if they don't always like me." She said with a large grin on her face as she tossed the racket up into the are caught it by the handle and back handed the incoming ball back towards Tyr again.
"Well mostly because being a human is so much fun, I mean how many creatures can boast being able to use magic and build cities like we have?" She gave a rather confident smile. "I mean we have so much interesting things we made, paintings music statues are pretty cool to look at, hard to take home though. Oh and we're always doing something making something new, there's so much going on out there. I mean there's so much life around us, why sit still when there all that life and new things to discover out there?" Bellua asked after she finished her rambling explanation. She spun on her heel serving back the ball with another back hand suddenly full of energy again. "I love being a human because it's fun and risky, we're squishy but tough, life is one big roll of the dice who knows where they will fall I love every second of it!"
