Before she knew what was happening, Tyr was whisked away from the large, intimidating human by her new friend. As they moved away, she couldn't help but ask aloud. "Keep a better watch over me?" possibly loud enough for the man to hear, but it didn't matter that much either way. She shook her head. "Nevermind, I get it. You were trying to avoid a fight! I approve. Though why he would hit a child I have no idea. He might have yelled though. You got out of there fast."
Tyr paused for a moment. "Wait, what's swimsuits?" she asked curiously. She was new to this whole human society thing, relatively speaking, and she'd never gone swimming with people. Plus, dragons in their natural form didn't exactly have swimwear. Tyr did refuse to use her dragon form around people though, for fear of scaring them or otherwise putting her or someone else who didn't understand dragons in danger.
"Oh, why would he hit a little girl?" Bellua scratched her head confused as to why she assumed that he would, She hadn't really thought about it just, she just moved before she thought. Fiore was so nice a place the guy would probably didn't have it in him to actually hit Tyr, she was so cute after all. Ah who cared! It was possible he was a jerk and she diffused the situation, that was all that mattered! "Reflexes, it was my reflexes!" She insisted, her voice not entirely convincing as she said it, then Tyr gave her a ego saving escape route, new conversation go!
"You don't know what a swim suit is?" She asked stopping for only a second before continuing forwards not a second later. "Well it's a bit hard for me to explain, We humans don't like exposing ourselves fully to others for a number of reasons, and I really don't want to get into that unless you want to hear me sound like a boring teacher or something like that, so instead!" She declared snapping her fingers to emphasize her getting to the point. "Swimsuits are basically clothes you wear when you go swimming. I assume they were invented because normal clothes feel all weird when wet they don't feel like clothes anymore and it's like something foreign is all over your body eewwww~" She said flowing out an explanation at a rapid pace, she was having fun talking but she needed to find a place that sold swimsuits.
"Ah, I see..." For a moment, Tyr looked like she was considering something, before her face lit up. "I should get one too then!" she decided. "Seeing as how I look human and all. I get stared at enough without not using one of these swim suits." The pair were walking and talking relatively quickly, but Tyr had no trouble keeping up, mentally or physically, despite her shorter legs and younger appearance. "Of course... you might need to buy it for me... dragons like me don't keep money on them, and I literally just got in trouble for eating something without paying for it," she giggled as if it wasn't a big deal. To her it wasn't.
Before long, they came across a small shop. It had swimwear on display, though Tyr couldn't tell the difference between that and underwear, and she simply tilted her head, frowning a bit. She could speak Fiorian, but reading wasn't something she'd mastered yet. Not in this language. Sutanese, Vallandian, and about four others, sure. But not the most important language for the current situation just yet. "Is this it?" she asked as she stared at the colorful clothing. Everything on display was for someone who looked a bit older than her.
"Naughty girl~ I hope you plan on paying whom ever that was back at some point." Bellua giggled, not that she had that much of a problem with stealing, at least she didn't when it didn't get her into trouble, or if some one was stealing from her. there was a very terrible place reserved in her collection for theives, and it wasn't permane- whoooops that was a dark place. She was having fun today, no need to get like that when she was having a good time. Besides she had shopping to do, she looked around frowned two pieces two pieces everywhere, and not modest one peace for Tyr in sight. That was no good She looked around entering the shop and moving her hands about the racks of suits. She'd find something for Tyr to wear, there were suits made for all kinds of people. Men, women, children, pets ohh that was weird why'd you wanna put swim suits on pets? That was weird, people are weird.
"Aha! Found on- nope wait that's a pair of shorts for boys, oops. Wait here we go, one swim suit Here go try this on in the changing booth while I look for one for myself and see about buying these things. Now, do I want a one piece...or should I grab a two piece?" She muttered to herself passing on the smaller, simple, one piece suit to Tyr. It wouldn't be her first pick the floral patterns all over it made it look stomach churningly childish but it was the first one she saw. She flipping through the others suits trying to find something she liked. Oh maybe it would be better to get a few, no wait dumb plan she was already hurting for cash likely two was her limit. "What to do, what to do, oh well find the one I like first that's my priority. Tyr if you find one you like better please tell me!"
"Maybe... if I get some money..." Tyr decided aloud. She supposed humans needed money for their things. The pair walked into the store, and Tyr found herself staring at the different shapes and sizes of swimsuits. "So many shapes..." she muttered, her ponytail whipping around as her head directed. "What abou- oh." She'd pulled out what was a rather skimpy two piece just as she was handed a dark blue one piece. Quietly, she moved the two piece back to its position on the rack. Nothing to see here. She hadn't picked anything wrong.
When Bellua pointed out that Tyr could pick, she pulled out the same swimsuit again slowly, holding it in front of her wordlessly. It wasn't that she lacked for words. No, in her three hundred years she had never been lacking for words. Her lack of words was more pointed, more... 'so I guess this is okay then...' before inching away towards the dressing room.
Of course, she entered the wrong dressing room, which fortunately had no one in it. Also fortunately, the place wasn't high tech enough to have camera lacrimas set up. She struggled with the suit for a bit; she never really worried about getting dressed or undressed because when she transformed she wasn't wearing her human clothes. Better, cleaning up as one made her clean in her other form. But about five minutes and several experiments that ended with her head sticking out of the wrong holes, she had the one piece on. And the two piece over it. "So which one do you like better?!" she asked once she'd stepped out to get Bellua's attention. To her it saved time to try on both at once.
"Hmm oh this is a nice two piece, not too skimpy...aaaaand the price?" Bellua winced holding up the bathing suit to take a look at the price tag. Oh yes! Perfect, she really lucked out here, now if she did this right she could get a few more more she just needed to get her hands on the guy selling these and, oh. Tyr is done dressing up, well that's sure to be worth a look right? She should be adorable in whatever she wor- Bellua froze as she stared at the most adorably hilarious thing she had seen in a while, Tyr was wearing both the one piece Bellua had picked out, and a two piece that was really cute on her. Bellua put her hands on her cheeks and smiled, she was so cute Dragon or not she was just precious!
"You look so cyuuuute! Hmm let me think, I think the two piece is actually the better choice looks better and I think, oh yes cheaper to cool!" She said smirking as she looked about, now she needed to finish up the shopping. "So which one do you like? I personally try to avoid wearing most of the two pieces, they tend to lean on the tasteless side. Though the one pieces tend to be boring alot and I never really got to swim much at all back home so it's not like I wear them much, still I guess my point is... Oh I guess I lost my point. whoops." She shrugged and shrugged looking at her own suit, she really wnated to get to te pool already.
Tyr had liked the two-piece too. They were both fine; in fact she would have just worn both of them because why not, but since Bellua was paying her human money for it and only had a little, Tyr supposed she would just take the one. It was a nice red color, which Tyr thought went quite well with her emerald hair and eyes. Sure, it was probably a bit skimpy for someone who looked her age, but what did Tyr care? She wasn't even human. She giggled at the choice, ready to go change back into her other clothes.... which might be harder than these since they were flowy and stuff.
"Hmmmm..." she walked up to the swimsuit and examined both it and Bellua closely, rubbing her chin as if she were solving a mystery. "That one." she pointed at the cheaper two piece Bellua had picked out. "Why? Because then we sort of match kinda. And it costs less human money." She had reasoned this out much faster than she'd made a show of doing, but she wanted to make it look like she was giving it more serious thought. "I'm gonna go change into my real clothes again!" she announced, running into the men's room once again just before a guy could walk in there. He gave Bellua this look that just said "why?"
It surprisingly took less time for her to figure out the old clothes, and within a few minutes she was standining outside of the room, having been lectured about using the correct rooms by the man and was now blinking confusedly. "But I don't even look like I have a dress on when I wear the swimsuit," she puzzled to Bellua as she examined the men's and women's symbols on the doors.

"You certainly got an eye for fashion, remind me to invite you along next time I go shopping for clothes" Bellua smiled and waved as Tyr went back to change into her clothes. Oh that was the men's changing room, Bellua resisted the urge to laugh long enough to walk up to the guy wrap an arm around around his shoulder. "I'd say I'm sorry, but that would be a lie. I'm having waaay too much fun right now." she giggled patting him on the back and spinning around to return the one peice to it's rack spinning the stranger in the process. Now where was the front desk again, she got all spinned around and oh there we go, now all she had to do was wait for Tyr to come back out and she could pay for these swim suits.
"What was that? Dress?" Bellua stopped turning around and looking in the direction of the changing room. "Oh! I see what you mean the gender signs. You know I know what they mean but I don't know why they look the way that they do. I mean I wear skirts a lot but I also wear pants, and I don't like pink either, but apparently dresses and pink means girls room." She shrugged hooking her finger around Tyr's bathing suit, she was going to have to pay for this after all. "So you ready to go? I'm kinda eager to go." she said stretching her body out. "Hmm, Let's get something to eat after the pool, that sound good? If nothing else the Sabertooth Guild house will let us eat for free." She offered she didn't have anything she was going to do after this food was always good after exerting yourself right? Or was that eat before? It was most likely after she got things confused once in a while but still food sounded good.
"I always wear the same thing. Aaaand it's like a tunic dress with shorts..." Tyr examined her own clothing. "You humans should be more clear with your signs, I mean, I know I can't read the Fiorian language very well, but it's hard to mistake pictures. 'dress' and 'no dress' is preeeetty obvious," she reasoned. "What if a spunky young dragon waltzes in and wants swimwear and finds it confusing?" She chuckled. "Actually that sounds kind of absurd doesn't it? Wow, maybe my brother *is* right. Sometimes. Rarely."
Tyr followed Bellua to the checkout counter, where the young lady rung up their clothes. Tyr couldn't help but think how hard it would be for her kin to give up so many shiny jewels. Dragons loved shiny things. They were a lot like giant immortal squirrels that way. Not Tyr though. She had her trinkets and baubles, but she had never seen the appeal. Tyr nodded. "I'm ready!" she agreed. "And food sounds good too. I like meat. Just meat. Plants are evil. It's a proven fact." Technically her human form could stomach food of other types, but she was in denial about that; she had no taste for other dishes.

"Your brother sounds like a serious kind of guy, still it's good to have siblings. I've never had that growing up, single child means the house was really quiet." Bellua said paying for the suits she had just enough to do so, now it's time to go to the pool. She tossed the suits into her backpack, they were ready for their day off. She turned around flashed Tyr a smile. "Well you are a dragon, meat is a large part of a Draconic diet right? We'll get you something delish to eat for sure." She said taking the Small dragons hand. "But before we eat we have a pool to get to come on let's go!" She declared practically dragging Tyr along as she rushed towards the public pool, this was going to be fun she could tell.
"I haven't been to the pool here in a while, but it was a lot of fun last time. The Water slide especially, oh it's so much fun going down that thing." She rambled on happily, she remembered how much she enjoyed it the first time around something about the pool was just amazing. Simply splashing in the water was just a joy, why didn't she go more often? Oh well she could always come back again later, maybe she'd invite others along as well. Going other places was always more fun when you had company. "You can swim right? I don't know if that's a learned skill for your species like it is for us humans or if you just kinda know how." She asked sheepishly only slowing down when she noticed that they were getting close to the pool. "Ah! We're here!"
"Well, specifically all a dragon can eat is meat," Tyr wasn't lying, but she was leaving out the part where her human form was, in fact, essentially human. She just giggled. She could go for a good meal anytime; humans really knew their stuff when it came to cooked meats, and this form could appreciate that far better than her dragon self.
The pair kept walking, and Bellua suddenly thought to ask if Tyr could swim. The young dragon hadn't actually thought about it, and it showed on her face. She scratched her chin, making a thoughtful noise for a second. "You know, I don't know if I automatically know how to swim in this form or not. I knew how to walk and talk... but either way, how hard can it be?" she decided. "It's just moving limbs around to stay above the water, right?"
Finally, the pair arrive. It was obvious due to the noise and the smell of chlorine permeating the area, but Bellua pointed it out anyway. "Yay!" Tyr echo'd. This time she found the correct changing room they had to enter to get in, and Tyr ducked into one of the unoccupied locker areas. "So uh, a thought just occurred to me," she piped up as she grabbed her bikini. "Humans don't like to expose themselves, but how am I supposed to get into this properly with my stuff on?" The little dragon was apparently not paying attention to the other people around them to get the hint.

"Well uh we're more comfortable around those of the same gender. These rooms make us naturally more comfortable especially since we don't spend much time in them and we aren't getting ogled by the opposite sex. Not that I mind the attention personally but when society makes a decision like this you kinda have to live by it if you don't want to be considered weird." Bellua giggled as she started to strip and change into her suit without an ounce of shame or modesty. "I once saw a young girl wrap a towel around herself to hide her body as she changed clothes there are some in my backpack if you want to use them." She sighed reaching in and pulling out her swim suit a few towels and a few hair scrunchies.
"Here you go you can use these to tie you hair up I have mine short but I always keep a few in case I decide to grow it out. Or if I get serious in a fight, wonder why it does that? Oh well question's for later." She shrugged passing Tyr her suit. She picked up her own two piece and started to slip it on, she hadn't checked to make sure it fit at the shop but she was pretty careful about sizes anyways, she avoided the ones too big or small for her and she was glad to see that she once again picked a good fit for her, though she supposed that Tyr picked this one out. "Well once you get showered meet me in the showers okay? Gotta get clean before we hop in." She waved at Tyr and headed towards the showers to wash up.
"Humans are weird..." Tyr sighed as she glanced around quickly. "I'm weird, but humans are weirder the more I hear about them..." Her words seemed to match what the dragon saw. She shrugged. She didn't care half as much as Bellua did, and Bellua didn't seem to care at all... so it was probably kind of impressive how unconcerned the dragon was. She'd already practiced getting undressed once that day, so it was much easier for her to get the bathing suit on properly. "Hey, it does look better without the other one under it. I'm not sure why this little is considered clothing... then again I don't understand it in general..." she supposed it worked though, and the mirror not to far away did show her an image of herself that Tyr decided was cute. She tied her hair up a little more properly.
"So wait, why do we have to get clean before getting into the chemically sterilized water?" she asked. "I can smell the chlorine... there's more than enough..." she complained. Ah well. She went in and got herself wet, deciding that was a good enough "shower." She had no idea if that was what the humans meant or not, at least in this case. She stepped out after she turned the water off, sighing as a whirlwind surrounded her and dried her out within moments. "Oh, Hi again," she greeted, grinning as she waved at Bellua. She just giggled at the surprised shouts as the winds picked up anything it could within about 10 feet and surprised the women around her more than anything.

Bellua had been washing herself for a bit now and now that she had felt she gotten herself clean enough she turned off the water and walked out of the shower still completely covered in water. Dripping water from all over she decided to wait for Tyr to show up out of the shower when suddenly she felt a chill. Oh that's cold and strong, really strong! What was that? That couldn't be a draft it was too strong too full of purpose. Like magic, wind magic, was Tyr using her magic? Someone else? Suddenly she expecting a fight she looked over to where her opponent might be and froze when she saw Tyr drying herself off. Bellua calmed down and giggled at herself, she got all worked up she almost started using her own magic over nothing.
"Hey what are you drying yourself for we're going in the pool anyways!" She said waving to her friend giggling again as Tyr spun and created another gust of wind. "Hey you little show off I get that your magic is awesome no need to- oh who am I kidding it's cool to watch you work! It's not like using your magic, it's more like you're just flexing your muscles, like you're just breathing and magic happens that's so cool! I based how I used my magic on that idea. Dragons are so cool!" She was practically squeeing over what was admittedly a simple display but she wasn't really impressed by the display itself so much the effortlessness of it. "Ah I am getting so distracted again!" She shouted spinning on her heel the wetness of her body causing her to spin more than she wanted and causing her to almost fall over. She regained her balance mid fall and slipped out the shower room her face red.
Tyr couldn't help but giggle when Bellua nearly slipped. Had she slipped it wouldn't have been funny at all, but the fact that she was unhurt just opened the floodgates to hillarity. Well, that and Tyr was very easily amused for someone that was 300 years old. "Dragons are magical beings," she told Bellua when she caught up with an almost unnatural grace considering the wet floor.
"So, really using wind magic to me's a lot like breathing for you. Well, that's not true I have to breath too and it's kind of different. Actually it's kind of like when you're breathing on purpose instead of automatically. And sometimes I have to breath differently to do different things, except I'm also not really breathing to do it. Even though I'm still breathing..."
The two exited into the water park proper. It did look fun; kids and adults alike were laughing and playing in the water, and the slides looked practically magical. Well, aside from the water lacrima cycling the water. "Whelp! Now I get to see if I know how to swim." She didn't sound worried about it in the least. That was probably because she wasn't. Who had ever heard of a dragon drowning? No one, that's who.
