"I dunno, I'm kinda happy with my wind magic," Tyr put a finger to her lips as she considered it. "Then again I am a wind dragon, not like a wind and fire dragon, or anything like that," she nodded, concluding her thoughts. Besides, what use were other magics? People might just start thinking she was strong and try to fight her or something. Plus, she wasn't including the fact that sky dragons were masters of manipulating raw magical energy along with their magic. It was *almost* a second magic. Sort of.
Suddenly, Bellua was right up next to Tyr, who, almost predictably, didn't care at all about how close the proximity was. She even scooted a bit closer, figuring it must be some sort of hug. She would probably make anyone's prize in a collection of cuteness; not that she meant to, which was why it was so effective! "Sooooo what about you? You just wanna stand super close or find something else to do?" she asked the girl instead of answering.

"Well yeah, it's not like a dragon would need a second magic they are already awesome with just one, a lot of our stronger mages get a second magic at some point to cover their weaknesses or something like that, I just think having more than one magic is cool." She shrugged, it was cool being able to do all sorts of awesome things just because you're strong enough to pull it off. Then again being strong enough to just do whatever you want regardless of how many magics you had would be awesome to.
"Well I am fine just relaxing the water feels nice I don't mind staying in here, we could go down the water slide again but I think that everyone else would get angry if we keep skidding across the water like last time, people are so sensitive." She said bumping against Tyr softly with her arm. "I am also kinda hungry now we could get something to eat, I am pretty wishy washy when it comes to coming up with things to do. I kinda just do whatever just comes to mind but I got a lot going on in my head right now." She shrugged putting her hands up in a defeated pose.
"Hmmmmm..." Tyr placed a hand on her chin, mimicking some thinking people she'd seen before. her stomach answered for her, however. "Apparently swimming makes a girl hungry," she patted her bare stomach with a giggle before running her fingers through her wet, green hair. She glomped Bellua with a quick hug as she decided to follow the whims of her tummy. "We should get food!" she decided, still hanging onto Bellua. "You think they have meat?" Sure, she could eat other things, but the little dragon absolutely refused to not be a carnivore. Plants and things were evil!
She decided it would be fun to hop onto Bellua's back for a piggy back ride. It wouldn't be too hard; she could make herself seem lighter with her magic, after all. Wind dragon magic was useful like that. Also it was useful in a whole lot of other ways, but that wasn't really the point. Either way, she giggled happily at the "free" ride before hopping off once they were out of the pool. She was probably too big to actually behave like she did, but Tyr didn't have a real grasp of human ages. "Yeah yeah! I can smell meat now. Well, close enough. Those um... whachu call them again? They're like pigs but called dogs... oh yeah hot dogs! I'll have those without buns thanks. Bread is evil."

"Right let's go then!" Bellua said getting out out the pool with the tiny dragon on her back, she was stronger than most people though so she expected Tyr to stay on a bit longer but when she hopped off she didn't complain. "You want a hot dog? You know I wonder why they are called hot dogs, they aren't really dogs. But yeah we can get you some the guild hall serves plenty of food. Don't worry you won't be forced t eat anything evil." She teased Tyr lightly as they went through the showers and got dressed. The pool was fun, she needed that this little walk of hers quickly turned into a normal day out with one's new dragon friend but that was much better than a simple walk.
"I wonder what I should do after this, day's still pretty young there's so much to do." She pondered openly. "Do you have anything else you wanna try or should we just go out and look for trouble?" She stoked her chin with exaggerated flair. "Well unless you need to do something else, I don't I haven't accepted any jobs for today. Oh wait I still need to grab some stuff for jobs later. Shopping can wait until the end of the day, or until I feel like it. I might not even need the supplies, I am a wizard I don't think I need anything in particular to beat up a few monsters harassing a village... Then agaain... it never hurts to have stuff on hand just incase I mean you never know when you'll start rambling at random and find yourself unable to stop, hey Bellua focus please!" She said smacking her cheeks lightly catching herself in the middle of a ramble. "Well that's a bit embarrassing."
"Oh, right! We're eating at your guild." Tyr nodded in recollection. That meant there was probably different food than the hot dogs and the other poisons humans consumed at the pool. Their strange sugar treats smelled nasty and the hot dogs barely really passed for meat in her opinion. "In that case, maybe I can try some other fun human recipe~" she mused. Her mouth was already watering at the thought of some sort of delectable meat, such as roast chicken or pulled pork.
She shook her head, realizing Bellua had been rambling, and that she was embarrassed for having done so. She waved off the girl's embarrassment nonchalantly. "Focusing is soooo overrated. Rambling is just letting your brain say its process out loud, right?" she shrugged before clinging to Bellua again. "So I say let em all out unless you just don't want to!" She nodded, noting her cheek felt rather different against cloth instead of wet skin. Humans had such sensitive skin compared to dragon scales. it was so weird when she stopped to think about it. "I like hearing how humans think. It's fun!"
"But you think vegetables and bread are evil! You're missing out on like half the flavoring only eating the meat!" Bellua exclaimed. "Well I can't blame you entirely some of our recipes are really...something. But vegetable, and spices we use the to compliment the natural flavors of the our meat. I dunno maybe we're just spoiled like that. Lot's of animals are fine just eating meat raw." She tapped her chin before smiling and shrugging. "It doesn't matter I'll eat your veggies and bread when we get there 'kay? Since they're evil and all, I'll slay 'em for you." She offered happily.
"Oh? Well yeah it is but I'd rather not have the contents of my brain out for everyone to hear, it's embarrassing, it's private, but I kinda can't help myself." She said as Tyr clung to her, Bellua giggled. "Are you teasing me~?" Belua asked pulling Tyr closer to her, was she ticklish? She definitely had a human body right? Lot's of human's were ticklish, Bellua was ticklish at the base of her spine, and her feet. Guess that happened when you walked around with out shoes alot, your feet get sensitive to soft feeling instead of tough stuff. Ah! Off topic again. "Be careful if you're gonna tease me, I might try to tickle you or something to get back at you. I mean there's not much I really can do, you're so cute after all. AH! We're wasting time let's finish up here and get to the guild hall!" She finished suddenly realizing what was going on.
"Half the flavoring? How could prey animal food taste half as good as meat?" Tyr tilted her head thoughtfully. It seemed to her like the vegetables would taint the delicious taste of the meat. Then again that lobster she'd had with Raz and Tracen had been delicious, and it had come with vegetables she hadn't touched. She had to think about it for a short moment, but didn't spend too much time on it. "Well, in my dragon form raw meat is usually how I eat," she admitted. "It's just that I was told that doing that would probably not be good while I was in human form, and my human form seems to like cooked meat pretty well anyway," she shrugged. So much thought over some food.
"Teasing you?" Tyr blinked before grinning wider. "I don't know what I was teasing you about, or what tickling is, but you'd have to catch me first!" she chuckled before her stomach growled. "Er... not that that would be too hard when I'm so hungry..." she complained with another chuckle. Nah, she probably wouldn't even try to dodge since she trusted Bellua as her current human mentor.

(Onwards to the meal section of this thread!)
"It's fine Tyr, lets fill that stomach of yours, uh and mine as well!" She declared standing up picking Tyr up in her arms. "Let's go get food!" She shouted tossing Tyr up and trusting the little dragon's wind magic to give her a soft landing on her back, once she was settled in place it was time to kick things in high gear! She was probably not as hungry as Tyr was but hungry was hungry right? She better hurry up even if it wasn't for her own case. "I hope the chefs made a lot of food My stomach's grumbling!" And moving right along with things she made a beeline, (how is that any different from a normal line?) straight for the guild.
"Hello everyone, you better not tell me we have no food , or I'll have to improvise!" She said pushing the door open with her foot. Bellua didn't directly interact with her guildmates normally but her improvisations had been the source of more than a few fires around the guild hall. Someone had a while back said she would probably be more at home with fairy tail with the damages she had a habit of causing, but she wasn't interested in changing guilds now, could you even do that? It didn't matter anyways, what did matter however was that there was food. "Oh look! Looks like someone expected me to home home hungry, lucky~"
Tyr rode semi-awkwardly on Bellua's shoulders into the guild hall. It wasn't awkward for her exactly; well, physically it kind of was. Bellua was strong but Tyr still appeared to be about thirteen, which was much older than when people normally let girls ride on their shoulders. Well, except for boyfriends who wanted to look strong, perhaps, but she was still rather large to be doing so. She blinked as they walked in, taking in the sights and smells, even a small bit of the air as Bellua made her way to the dining area.
It was a bit awkward the way people didn't exactly react as if she were some sort of long lost sister or something; she'd heard guilds were rather close, but from the looks of it she didn't spend a lot of time around the guild hall or its people."Ooh. I guess we timed this right!" Tyr declared when she saw the food. They had what must have been ham, some chicken, and who cared what else it was all gross prey animal food anyway. She hopped off with the skill of a world class ballerina using the assistance of her wind magic, ending up next to the food on the table rather quickly.
Tyr wasn't used to eating around people; she'd done so a couple of times, and once in a restaurant. She wasn't exactly given time to figure out manners there either, so without second thought she just picked up the ham and took a bite out of it. "Yumyum! I didn't know pigs could taste so gooood! I wonder what the chicken tastes like!"

"Glad you like it, and if you wanna know just take a bite of it." Bellua giggled sitting next to Tyr. "You know, normally we just take what a bit from the tire thing and put it on our plat instead of just biting into it like that." She said taking some food and piling it on a plate. "Human's are picky about things like that, lot of us don't like eating something someone else has bitten into. picky, or is it paranoid? Dunno, too much effort to find out." She waved her fork around as she well it's no really explaining but whatever it got the point across. "Just a thing to remember in case you don't want people staring at you. I prefer to eat a bit at a time being a chatter box it's kinda fun to eat with others and talk so I end up eating a bit slowly."
Bellua popped some food into her mouth, taking a moment to enjoy some chicken. "Mmm I love the way the spice mixes with the chicken's natural flavor. Delicious~" It was good, tasted so good! Ah wait, this was actually quite a lot a food, a bit more than the normal dinner spread. "Hey..." She waved over the chef with a smile on her face. "This is a bit more food than normal, is someone expecting company?" She asked getting a blank stare from the chef. "Oh, uh, did I say something?" She asked as the chef shook his head, shrugged and went back to work without a word. "I can never read that guy." She murmured watching him walk off. "I guess nothing is happening then, oh well I was hoping for someone interesting to walk in."

"Oh." Tyr looked at the large bite she'd taken out of the food, blushing slightly before laughing at her mistake. "I don't mind people staring," she admitted, "But I wanna maaaaybe not always stick out as a dragon either. you know, so no one tries to do any slaying. There's a surprising amount of wizards who talk about how much they want to hunt ferocious beasts, and while I'm not one, I can see how they'd make a mistake what with untrained eyes and the fact that my dragon form isn't nearly as cute, buuuuut...." she shrugged, deciding to use her wind magic to cut a large chunk out of the ham, including the part she had bitten.
"There! Good as new!" she declared, plopping the meat chunk on a plate and sitting next to Bellua as she started talking about how much extra food there was and asked about company. "Do I count as company?" she asked aloud, tilting her head. "Or are there other people? I like meeting humans. They're all so interesting. Some are boring but like, even that's interesting because they aren't boring in the same ways as boring dragons, because like, they don't live as long and it gives them different ways to be boring, you know?"

"Well it's not like dragons are like devils who are just about always completely evil, I'm pretty sure that no one would be wary off dr- oh wait. There was some sort of incident a while back involving dragons that made everyone a bit... twitchy. I guess I see your point.... but I can also see why a lot of these mages are out there challenging the big strong beasts. I can totally understand wanting t prove your bad enough to defeat a powerful evil monster, and rescue the damsel, or instead get some pretty awesome loot. It's a relatable goal. Being a hero, or someone to be looked up to in general." She smiled as she waved the fork about like it was a dagger. "And I'm sure your dragon form is also cute." She giggled.
"Oh I totally know what you mean, I am really interested in how Dragons work socially. All we have in our legends in their strength and power and their... oh umm well my point is that even among us humans we have so many different cultures and stuff, I'm new here myself so I'm unfamiliar with a lot of customs. Nothing it heavily regulated here like it is in my home country. With thin so different and new how could I resist learning new things. That said apparently my personality (not to mention being a foreigner) rubs a bunch of people the wrong way." Bellua giggled to herself. "I didn't join the guild because I agreed with it either or anything either, so I don't exactly mesh well with many of my guildmates. I don' blame them I'm not the easiest person to get along with, I often can't control myself." She shrugged with her hands up. "What I- oh yeah well I meant like someone they expected cause I kinda just brought you in without warning anyone so the food isn't really likely to be meant specifically for us. you know what I mean?"
Tyr was a good listener. She really was. In fact, she got a lot of what Bellua said, but with everything each of them were rambling she started to lose track of what she was even supposed to reply to or continue with as she concentrated on her large hunk of ham. Instead of contributing more to the conversation, she looked at her remaining food and lifted it up with two fingers. So, apparently the food wasn't for her, which kind of made her feel bad. Still she'd been offered it by Bellua so she supposed she shouldn't feel too bad!
"Ah well. I'm told it's nice to feed humans who visit you so maybe they won't be too mad?" she seemed completely oblivious to the chef who was in the room, regardless of what he said (or didn't say). "Oh! Er, dragon social customs are strange to humans I bet. It's pretty different, like siblings are really rare, but I have three, and we're all like, super close but most dragons are all 'rawr I'm really mighty and regal and we should all treat each other like human royalty wants to be treated," she chuckled to herself.
Post by Bellua Daemon on Sept 11, 2015 4:28:58 GMT
"Well yes actually, you're supposed to feed guests. Just common courtesy." Bellua said before giving Tyr and Cheshire like smile. "Dragons all treat each other like royalty eh? That sounds so formal, but royalty tends to be for confining and boring. I can't really see dragons posturing about pointlessly." She grinned, waving her hand back and forth. She took some more food and shrugged. She wanted something else new to happen but she wasn't exactly about to force anything. After all she had a cute little dragon to look after(and a creepy chef to figure out but that comes later). "Well the foods good so I guess he's alright. No one who cane make something so delicious cane be all bad." She thought aloud.
"Bleh I feel tired and I dunno what to talk about now, the foods delicious though so that's good." Bellua started again. "Arrgh I the when I get like this I dunno what I want to do, this is why I normally go out and get lost or something, I don't have to decide I'm lost that's a situation where things are interesting. Oh I guess we could go exploring somewhere getting but it'll be late soon getting lost is only really fun when you start early." Bellua kicked her legs back and forth as she thought what to do next, maybe she should find some bad guys to thump. "I don't wanna sit around much more~"
"Well, not all dragons. I guess some of us are close like humans, like me and my siblings," she re-stated unnecessarily, "But dragons just don't become friends that quickly, probably because we all get so easily tied up in our own lives and stuff. And I guess maybe when I'm older maybe I'll understand a bit better, but in dragon terms, I'm basically a kid, and one that's extremely social even compared to my brother or sisters."
Tyr nommed her food a bit more. "And it's less posturing about... whatever that means... and more they tend to have egos, which I guess I kind of have but not as big or something. So being direct in the proper ways is a big thing. They don't really expect the exact same thing from humans, but when Mom met with a dragon named Belfyire not too long after I was born (yes I remember) it was reeeeeally stiff and just kinda fancy. Except dragons don't normally wear clothes so therew ere no fancy clothes. I like clothes and wear them now but not when I'm a dragon. Well, I mean, not when I'm my natural form."
Unlike Bellua Tyr was completely unapologetic about her rambling. She said what she wanted to say whether it made sense or not. Sure, her view of other dragons was probably skewed considering she was terrible at draconic social queues compared to other dragons. More than anything dragons tended to be thoughtful when they spoke. Every word was important, and when speaking between one another they tended to not waste time with pleasantries. Some really close ones could, but it was rare for dragons to have, much less actively want friends. Tyr was kind of a freak in her dragon social circles. "Weeeell we can find something to do if you want. But I know humans like to be busy so if you want to do other things I can go find a place to sleep for the night."
