Roxanne sighed as she pushed her hair from her face. She was just coming out of an oh so fun meeting with Captain Lockhart, one in which she'd earned herself yet another cleaning of a random room at headquarters for mouthing off to him. She really wasn't getting the hang of this whole "You're a soldier act like one" thing people kept telling her. Psh. She wasn't even a soldier. She was more like a police woman, just... with a bit more responsibility. Meh, semantics over a stupid job She was angry at at the moment anyway. She was still in her Templar uniform - hair in a ponytail, jacket, skirt, boots and stockings (yeah, she'd taken the 'alternative sexy costume' Albel had offered in his perviness, but mostly because she wasn't that modest to begin with, in any sense of the word).
At least it was a sunny day outside. It had made the trip before her less than ideal meeting nice, and it was already improving her mood now that she was outside of that stifling place of authority and seriousness. She kept telling herself she was doing it for the sexy uniform. Women loved a girl in uniform, right? Well, certain women did. Roxy had to admit as she passed a Templar woman on her way to where Roxy had just left - she was one of them. It was just one of the perks. That and staying out of jail without having to contact her overbearing 'Lordling' parents. Oh, and literally living above a bar, though she'd found herself drinking a lot less now that she wasn't questioning her role in life as much.
Well, actually she was doing a lot of questioning. She was constantly frustrated, she couldn't get along with her colleagues who all liked order and planning a lot more than she did. But... she wasn't having to pretend she didn't care that she was shaking someone down because they did something stupid to get on her old guild's bad side. Also eventually she would get to get her revenge on the idiot who betrayed her, but that wasn't today so she didn't really need to dwell on that.
Regardless, Roxy was pondering what she wanted to do. She had the rest of the day off, and she'd traveled all the way to Grand City. Should she hit up a bar? Go shopping for things? Buy as many chickens as she could just to give Albel a totally deserved sense of deja vu? So many possibilities...

Bellua had her nose buried in a book as she walked, she had gotten bored with the library not having the information she was looking for and so she just left with the only book that looked like it might have any information on her magic type. She was pretty annoyed with everything and she barely missed the people walking about, dancing around people she would've normally bumped into keeping her eyes on the words and practically had a great beat going on. She was dressed in a black, sleeveless dress, that went down to just above her knees(Okay it was more like a skirt but Bellua thought it was too elegant to claim as one). It had a red ribbon tied near the neck, and a simple white cross on the right side of the dress's end, on the left a split on revealing more of the pure white under trimmings of the piece. She was wearing black platform boots that had several slots for knives to be placed in them, hard to notice unless you were looking for them. She had a small red tie in her head to complete the image.
"Legends, hearsay, several 'unproven accounts'. Oh why is research so hard~ I need to get something real before I love all patience for this thing." She complained flipping the page in her book, dodging another passerby who raised a hand and shouted at her for not looking where she was going. She wasn't really paying attention to anything though she guessed it was a nice day, it was bright out and she could easily read the words so it must be nice out, few clouds and things like that. She felt herself bounce off of someone and heard the angry ramblings of an old man, for which she immediately apologized for without looking at him continuing down the road trying to dodge more people. "People are so quick to anger, I swear, it's lie no one wants to hear the other side. It's pretty wonderful actually such raw passion for such transient moments! AHA! most sightings near Worth Woodsea! Woo! Haunted forest again!" She said closing the book, and rushing up to someone who looked responsible.
"Here mister take this book back to the library for me would you? Thank you that tie really brings out your eyes bye!" She said rapid fire spinning on her heel and rushing away until she almost ran another person, she stopped spinning her arms about in a circle trying to keep her balance she didn't see this person comin-waaaaait! "Roxy?" Bellua asked, blinking. "Is that you?"

Roxanne was just idly enjoying the day (and the view) when she was very nearly bumped into by an attractive blond woman. No, wait. not just an attractive blond woman - one she knew. One who remembered her name. "Bellua?" she echoed. Yeah that was definitely the girl's name. She didn't forget the names of pretty women she was at least mildly interested in. This one was odd enough that Roxy found her intriguing. Crap! She'd totally meant to look her up back before she'd gotten caught up in that dumb guild operation that had ended in her fighting that dragon slayer!
She recovered much more quickly than her racing thoughts threatened, and she quickly brushed the loose strands of hair back behind her ear. "Ah man, it's been like... how long again? I totally meant to look you up. You know, back before my world was turned upside down..." Not that Bellua knew that Roxanne had been a member of a dark guild - one that the guild mage might have felt obligated to capture or worse if she'd known. "Nice dress, by the way." Yeah, she had to throw in the compliment. 'Turn on the charm, Roxy' she thought to herself as she gave the blond a wink to go with the words.

"Why thank you, It seemed like a good day to look good. Looks like my intuition is definitely on the mark, and look at you I mean I don't like uniforms personally but, wow! You certainly pull it off~" Bellua responded before lifting her gaze back into Roxy's eyes, She returned her wink a playful smile dancing across her face. She stayed like that giggling happily for a brief moment before her face went to that of annoyance, she took a step closer invading Roxy's personal space pulling her index finger to her face. "You forgot about me didn't you? Life got turned upside down- I certainly hope it was serious! I'll have you know that no one snubs Bellua Daemon-pfft." Bellua had to stop and back off holding a hand up to contain her laughter. "Sorry sorry! It's been so long and I couldn't resist, I need to practice my acting a bit more it's been so hard to keep a straight face recently!" She giggled.
"Tell me how have you been? Your life getting turned upside down wasn't too big an ordeal I hope, well okay I hope it was a big enough deal to explain your dropping off the map. I had no way of contacting you y'know!" She said clapping her hands together she was filled with energy almost all the time and now was no exception why waste time sitting around doing nothing? She just Roxy again after all this time, Roxy was the first of the three interesting people that she met that day. She was glad to be able to see her again, this was going to be fun.

Much to Roxanne's delight, Bellua returned the flirt. That was always a good sign, and one that invited her to continue in the near future. The fact that someone else thought she was hot in a uniform only made her happier. Though, just as she started to chuckle, she suddenly had a blond in her face, finger pointed at her. There was an accusation before she broke into a giggling fit. Roxanne chuckled along with her, but was a bit relieved to see that it was just Bellua being Bellua.
"Yeah, I know," Roxanne rubbed the back of her neck, feeling a bit nervous about the explanation that was to follow. "Yeah, see, I kinda... almost went to jail and ended up getting a job instead. There was me having to move, lots of suspicious jerks, an extremely clean cafeteria in the Templar HQ..." She shook her head, her grin returning. She'd planned to requip back to her normal clothes, but if the uniform was a positive...
"Anyway, I'm here now, and totally more worth talking to than I was before. Also better looking. Long story, I'm sure you'd agree though." she shrugged before adopting an expression and posture that was obviously trying to be comically smooth. Bellua seemed to like silly, after all, and Roxy hadn't had much of a chance to be silly in awhile. "I guess that means I'm free to catch up. Maybe have an afternoon on the town with the girl I nearly lost track of. You know, if she's up for it."
"Wellllll~ " Bellua smirked at Roxy, pushing some of her hair out of her face. "So Roxy's no only in a uniform but a bad girl as well? Dangerous and authoritive, sweet~." She said putting a finger up against her own lip as she checked Roxy out again. Oh yeah definitely nice, she wasn't really a fan of authority figures, that much came with being stuck in an authoritarian country for most of your life. Though she was certainly reconsidering her position on cops, no one that got such fine looking uniforms could be completely tyrannical after all.
Bellua tried to cover up a laugh as Roxy seemed to unwind a bit not fully succeeding at it. "Well you know, I am curious as to why an 'Extremely Clean Cafeteria' is noteworthy, but Roxy you looked fantastic when I first met you and you look even better now. Keep doing whatever you're doing cause it's definitely working for you hun." She said making a fake camera with her hands, she brought her hands down and flashed Roxy a smile. as she offered to take her out on the town.
"Am I up for it? Well I'm always up for something new or fun! I would love nothing more than to accompany you my fine lady." She said with a laugh. Well now what did Roxy have in mind? Bellua couldn't wait to find out, so many things that could happen, and all with a beautiful Red Head. She struck gold with this one, she should see meet up with people she met up with at random more often. "So where to Roxy? Know anyplace around here more fun than especially fun around here?" She asked, putting her arms behind her back.

Roxanne had to admit - Bellua was certainly one she was glad hadn't completely slipped away. She even seemed to be equally willing to flirt. It was rare to find someone who seemed so confident who was also so open to having a good time with someone she barely knew. She chuckled in response to the young woman's answer. "I just look good in uniform I guess. Who knew?" she winked. "Then again I suppose I do look good in any number of things..." She exaggeratedly examined her own hand so it would be obvious she wasn't quite as conceited as she was acting for that line.
"Nah, but seriously I've been waiting for a chance to take someone to the things I've been finding around here on my time off." It was weird to have time off. Mostly because it was weird to be on a true schedule for probably the first time in her life. "I'm thinking we start off doing a bit of exploring. Ever seen this town from the rooftops? It's pretty amazing." With that, she spun and picked a new direction, ready for Bellua to follow her. She needed a day where she was having fun with someone like Bellua.
"Well I hoped you look good in more things than just the outfit you wore when we first met." Bellua said a cat-like grin growing on her face, before she patted Roxy's hand down in an over exaggerated manner. "Though I hope your head doesn't get too big, prolly the one thing you couldn't pull off too well." She gave a small giggle, as Roxy invited her to go along to he rooftops and a light flared to life in her eyes. She loved the rooftops, no one really went there. Everything looked different! people had no reason to go up on roofs apparently, just keep the stuff outside and out o our homes she guessed. Nothing wrong with that but why didn't more people love to explore?
"The rooftops? Oh yes let's go! I love being on the rooftops, I haven't seen this town from the roofs yet, too busy with research yet, but I would love to see what this town looks like from up there!" She said clapping her hands together, resisting the urge to hop. She toned herself down on the energy she had, she put a hand on her hip and motioned for Roxy to lead on. "Well then what are we waiting for? Lead on Roxy." She said her voice a slight bit lower, ohh she liked the way that sounded, maybe she should talk like this more often. She thought it sounded cool kinda like a female action hero or assassin or something.

((Roxy just can't help herself I swear))
Roxanne giggled, amused. She couldn't help herself. Bellua was so weird, but that was what made her interesting, she supposed. She spent so much time around serious people it was like being a kid who got to go to a theme park after spending weeks in school. Not that she knew what school was like - she'd been tutored at home by her rich family. Not that you could tell she'd ever been a rich snob at this point. She'd had that stamped out of her pretty well in a criminal guild.
"That tone makes you seem like an action hero. Or something." She had to comment. "Oh, and for the record, I've found I'm quite good at the big head thing, though I've been working on shrinking it. It just accessorizes better with that whole 'being less of a jerk' style I've been going for." Okay, she hadn't entirely reformed. She was still a jerk when people were practically asking her to be with their own smug attitudes. But hey, she hadn't threatened to cut off anyone's limbs recently, so you know... there's that. She was pretty sure the Templars frowned on torture. She'd never actually been a fan, herself.
'At least you're still good at reading what people like,' she mentally patted herself on the back as she approached a rather tall building. The fire escape went most of the way up; it just took a bit of a leap to get to the ladder, followed by another near the top. "I'd say ladies first, but considering that I am one, I guess I'll just beat you to the top," she stuck out her tongue playfully before leaping to the ladder and climbing as quickly as she could. It wasn't hard to reach the top. She'd been practicing her parkour skills since before she left home. Also, life or death situations tended to either make you good at avoiding getting hurt or dead pretty quickly.
By the time she reached the top, she was slightly winded, but not too bad. She spun to help Bellua up if she needed it. She was still chuckling, though she had to stop to actually speak up. "And here's where I would go if I ever had a reason to spend much time in town in a private setting," she announced proudly. "Comfortable, with a good view... the perfect place to hang out with someone attractive who isn't afraid of heights."
"Doesn't it though? I think I might talk like this more often it's really kinda fun." She said repeating a few of her spells names under her breath in the different tones to see what they sounded like. Roxy seemed like she was having fun! Good, that was great, fun was the name of the game right now, she thought her smile growing on her face. "I like your head as it is right now not too big but definitely not too small." She said putting her hands up in a fake camera again this time focusing on Roxy's head.
Bellua smiled and waited until Roxy had gotten a bit up the ladder to follow suit without bumping into her, oh sure she could've taken her knives and scaled the wall that way, she might've even found some hand holds to just scale it without any help at all, but she wasn't in a race. She eagerly approached the ladder climbing it in a not at all safe manned constantly letting go with one or both hands to look at something behind or to the side of her as she waited for Roxy to get to the top. Roxy wasn't slow Bellua just had more energy that the ladder allowed and was making use of it.
"Why thank you." Bellua said taking Roxy's hand and pulling herself up, she wasn't too heavy right? She was sure she was fine for her size but you could never be too sure about that if you weren't on top of it. She smirked as she took a look around the place, the rooftops of this place were sturdy good roofs, though some of them could use a good cleaning. She took a few steps around taking in the view itself, danced about the rooftop before stopping next to Roxy suddenly calm. "It's a quite nice view, I wouldn't mind spending a few evenings up here with this kind of view backing it up." She crossed her arms as she listened.
"Do you often run into people afraid of heights?" Bellua asked smirking, putting a hand over her eyes as she scanned the horizon. "I bet that a fine young lady such as yourself is awash with plenty of suitors, Fears of heights must be a common problem huh?" She lightly teased, "So your new job has you pretty busy then? Not much time to come up here and enjoy the view with someone attractive? Being the cops must be hard," She gave a wistful sigh.

Roxanne's head was the perfect size, which was exactly the size the redhead liked for it to be. She hardly lacked confidence, despite her almost unrealistic amount of bravado at times. She stood there leaning on the rail as she watched the budding new city below, though she wasn't exactly failing to pay attention to the attractive young woman beside her. Roxanne liked to think she was good at dates. She wasn't entirely sure this counted, but the idea was similar. Flirt a bit, impress the other while also trying to be enough of yourself so as not to trick someone into anything. She was better at it than her time spent in bars made one think.
"I'd say less suitors and more people who like what they see," Roxanne admitted. "I'm usually the one doing the flirting." Maybe it was her social personality. Maybe it was because she'd spent a lot more time drunk back before she'd become a Templar. "You know what they say, no rest for the wicked, and a bad girl like myself gets plenty to do," she grinned, taking her hair down out of its ponytail she wore it in when she was in her Templar Uniform. She shook her head a bit to free up her hair. "Though, I'm pretty sure I'd find a way to make time to to enjoy the view either with or of someone attractive."
"Suitors, people looking for a one night stand, those creepy ones that want a lock of your hair and watch you from across the street, same thing in my book. Just with different levels of want." She said smiling before running a hand through her hair. "Well I guess most people will lose confidence once they see you being the one in charge." She gave a smirk, as she leaned over onto rail with her elbows with Roxy. "No way you're gonna sit back and do work all day, all work and no play makes for a quick, dull, and pointless life. Much better to go out there, have fun, take risks, get into trouble, get out of trouble..." She trailed off her voice full of mirth as she imagined her adventures up until now.
"It's a really nice view, kinda makes me wanna do something dumb and risky." She giggled before hopping onto the rail and throwing her arms out to either side for balance. Balancing on one foot, well the toes of the foot but that's not really important. She stared down at Roxy, then the street, then Roxy again as she spun on her toes. "These boots are way more slippery than I remember I totally shouldn't be spinning like this at all!" She said shaking her head back and forth to emphasize that spinning in a circle like this was not at all as part of her plan. "It's fun though!"

"I like the way you think," Roxy looked over and winked at Bellua. She wasn't sure she agreed exactly, but she'd never been one to turn away potential fun, especially in the form of beautiful women. "It's not that I have to be in charge, it's just something I naturally do. You know, rich lordling parents and all." Bellua probably didn't know that. It wasn't really relevant anymore either, considering *she* hadn't been rich for ages now. Well, two years to be exact.
She watched Bellua do something 'dumb and risky,' not really concerend for whether the girl started to fall or not. She was at least ninety percent sure she would be more than able to catch her if she fell, and if not, Bellua herself should be able to do something. She could tell she was a strong wizard even if she didn't flaunt it. "Do you always dance alone?" she asked instead, putting her hands on her hips.
Post by Bellua Daemon on Nov 15, 2015 15:37:34 GMT
Bellua smirked and let her foot slip landing on the rail and giving a sigh, kicking her legs back and forth. She leaned forwards getting dangerously close to falling off for a bit. She gave a giggle and smirked at the ground swinging her feet again swinging them back and slipping her body down from the rail supported by her arms. She swung her legs up and over returning her self back behind the rail, she was so glad she wore spats and shorts underneath these dresses and skirts, it was just so much more practical. Sure it was nice to look good but if she needed to she could easily just rip the dress off and go at it with what she had underneath.
"Well not always, it's not hard for me to get a dance partner. I prefer to dance when the feeling comes and I don't always have a partner." She said waving her hand back and forth. "I do however tend to dance alone a lot, you'd be surprised how many people are interested in a lone dancing blonde in random places. I almost always meet someone who at least makes me laugh." She said leaning against the rail, she gave Roxya grin. "So do you wanna dance Roxy? It is a real nice day out, though I dunno if I wanna dance up here during the day, no poetry to it." She said looking up to the sky.

Roxanne couldn't help but semi-openly stare at Bellua dancing around on the rail. She was rather athletic and flexible, and Roxanne, though she was trying to be a better person overall, didn't exactly have the least perverted mind. At least she was keeping the staring more 'normal' and less 'I'm drooling on myself.' Bellua sat down on the rail rather suddenly, bringing Roxy out of her thoughts as she flinched reactively from the sudden and unexpected movement. - Roxanne might have thought the suddenness would be painful, but it seemed she was a veritable goddess of acrobatics; her timing was perfect and it all seemed effortless. She explained that she danced when the mood struck, and that people weren't always around for it. She also mentioned that Roxanne would be surprised how many people were interested in a lone blond who was dancing in random places. "Not as surprised as you might think," she commented, her tone nonchalant but the intent less so.
She wasn't quite surprised when she was asked if she wanted to dance, though she did hesitate for a moment as the image of Bellua just picking some completely random spot to dance played through her mind. The market area in her head had cleared a circle and were watching like it was some sort of ballroom dance hall. The thought caused Roxanne to grin and chuckle - She'd always liked when people had a proper flare for the dramatic, even if the dramatic was a bit ridiculous at times. Hopefully they would actually find somewhere a bit more private, but whatever. "I haven't danced properly in ages, but hey I guess that's not the point. Find us a place with just the right poetry, and I'll show you what I can do~"
