Piercing, golden eyes, jet black hair naturally spiked in an upwards position, and smooth, fair skin. One can say Bohiko is quite handsome, blessed with good looks. His body and lean and well-developed, a testimony to the training he had endured throughout his younger years. He's a relatively tall individual, reaching up to five foot eight. His arms are long and slim, the exact same as his fingers, which fit his frame. The boy’s nose is a strange mix between pointed and round, yet is definitely somewhat long as well.
Bohiko's fashion sense is one of simplicity. He makes less better. Although his outfits can vary, his favorite is a black t-shirt on his torso with red sweatpants, a pair that have white stripes on the sides. On his feet are normally a pair of regular white and red sneakers. Sometimes however, and only sometimes, he adds a jacket to his outfit with similar colors to his pants.
“At first I thought the brain was the most important organ, but then I thought, look what’s telling me that.” Bohiko can sometimes be called a trickster, due to his rather sly and mischievous nature. He enjoys a small prank every so often, or cheesy jokes that are very cheesy but very funny and clever at the same time. He loves to frustrate people as well, as he finds their reactions hilarious. Most of the time. There are also moments where he uses his head to get what he wants, either through simple reverse psychology, or perhaps some rather...underhanded tactics. Boe is always confident in his methods, along with his jokes and attempts to be amusing, and often becomes depressed or angered when they do not work properly.
“Mhm…” [...] “Wow...” [...] “Oh no he didn’t...” [...] “...What do you mean you were talking about food?” [...] “Yes, I was listening. But just in case...repeat everything you just said.” Boe often forgets things he is told, or just does not pay attention to whatever he’s supposed to pay attention to. If one knows him well enough, they can pinpoint when he is not listening, mostly through his signature nod and forced smile, or off topic comments. Luckily, he makes up for this by treating people with respect and kindness or randomly throwing around compliments. They manage to make him likeable, so he makes it a duty to do so.
“Hm…?” [...] “Of course I didn’t eat the last slice of pizza! Would I ever lie to you?” Unfortunately, Bohiko is not one known for honesty. Quite the opposite actually. He almost always tells lies to the people he meets, especially when it comes to things regarding himself. It somewhat affects the compliments he tends to hand out, as those who are familiar with him never know if it’s the truth or a lie. In a way, this insults them. Boe never seems to care if he acts rude to others though, and continues to constantly be dishonest. In fact, he appears to care for very little. If it does not involve him, he never gives anything the time of day, or even a small glance. In a way, though, this helps him evade stress or any unwanted emotions. Rather than uncaring, one can use the word...carefree.
history
His past was nothing special, nothing great or noteworthy…
To put it simply, Bohiko grew up in a family that was not his own. Well, it was his own, but not one including his parents. His mother and father had died in a tragic accident, the same day Boe turned four years old. He was later adopted by his rich uncle and lived in a mansion for most of his life, along with his aunt by marriage and four cousins. Due to taking care of their actual children and being extremely busy with their jobs, Bohiko hardly got any attention from the two adults in the household. The only ones that bothered to even speak to him regularly were his cousins, and that was mostly for teasing or irritating pranks and tricks. Eventually, he was forced to learn that you had to fight fire with fire.
The few times his uncle or aunt tried to speak with him, their words passed by his ears like the wind and he did the opposite of whatever they wanted him to. And when his cousins tried to trick him, he always managed to foil their plans. To add salt to their wounds, the boy would mock and insult them. Eventually, this produced a negative effect on his family members. They soon treated him like the very dirt they walked on. He was given little to eat, was rarely allowed outside of the mansion, and was given a large list of chores to do everyday. He pushed through it all, though. He refused to let them enjoy how upset everything made him. But once he turned ten years old, he contracted an illness that severely weakened his body. The fact that Boe was malnutritioned made his condition worse.
It was around this time his cousins had started to practice magic, and was making their parents extremely proud. Meanwhile Bohiko was bedridden and barely able to lift a finger, not even getting the chance to begin learning. It wasn’t until three years later that his uncle had paid for treatment. Apparently, seeing Boe being useless was a bother for the man. It wasn’t long until his cousins had begun to show off their abilities to him, and started to bully him for not being able to do the same. They kept teasing him, and annoying him, and insulting him, just like he had done...until one fateful day. Bohiko had been training his body to return to its original state and then some, as usual since he had gotten treatment, but managed to see his aunt coming home with something strange. After a bit of sneaking and spying and some expert use of binoculars, he discovered it was an extremely expensive lacrima.
Only sheer luck and a well thought out plan helped Bohiko steal (he prefers, “borrowed and forgot to give it back”) the lacrima from his aunt. After doing a bit of research, he ran from the house and into the forest they lived across from. It was one he often explored when given the chance to leave the house, which was very rare. The boy had found out in his researching that it was not just an expensive lacrima, it was one meant to give whoever used it dragon slaying abilities. To him, a mere preteen at the time who was tossed to the side, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. He took it upon himself to implant the lacrima into his body the day after he “stole” it, but was later forced to face the consequences. For one, Boe had no one to teach him how to control his new magic power, and he was forced to face his uncle and aunt. Both were angry beyond the point of any attempts at peace.
They locked him inside of the house, most likely what they intended to be for good. However, there were unable to keep Bohiko still. The boy had taken matters into his own hands once more and before long ran away from the mansion. He was still a kid though. There he was out on his own, in the middle of nowhere, with no plans on what to do. His lack of planning for one time in his life caused him to wander Fiore for two years, and the first year was perilous. News of Valland attacking Fiore had reached him and left him paranoid. Every town he saw, every person who he could possibly recognize as some sort of official was evaded. He remained that way for his second year as well, until he turned fifteen years old. It was then he heard of new guilds emerging. To be honest, it intrigued him. So he picked the one with the coolest name and sought out the few members.
Eventually, he managed to find one of them, who invited him to join the guild. Sabertooth it was. And from that point on, Bohiko was able to call himself a guild wizard, and was capable of enhancing his skills in magic.
Primary Magic
Name: Lightning Dragon Slayer | Lacrima Description: Through a lacrima implant, Bohiko is capable of using a lost magic, specifically lightning dragon slayer magic, which lets Boe produce and manipulate the element of lightning. It is extremely destructive and holds high voltage. However, being as young as he is, Bohiko has not gotten completely control over this magic. He is able to amplify his own abilities using lightning, or paralyze his enemies for mere moments. When tired, Boe can “eat” his own element as a means of restoring lost energy, just like all other dragon slayers. Speaking of, he has the common abilities given to all dragon slayers, except he is only highly resistant to his own element rather than immune. Unfortunately, his magic can be countered through the use of metal which redirects his attacks, and if he’s not careful, he can easily tire himself out. Since lightning is rare, it would be extremely difficult to recharge himself.
Signature Ability
Name: Lightning Dragon’s Strike Element: Lightning Description: A favorite move of Boe’s, due to how simple it is, yet how powerful it can be. He simply enhances any limb of his choosing with lightning, and attempts to strike down his opponent. Due to the lightning enhancement, his attack is far more faster and powerful than normal.
