Oak town was just how Maria left it: No wall, barely defended and very peaceful. Not much happened here as there wasn't really much about this town. It looked rather average and didn't really have something to let it shine. A few houses, a river aside it and a giant castle on top of the mountain this village was build around. Still, this place was the only place she ever got to call home. If anything happened the present Mermaid Heel mages would probably jump in to assist with the defense and evacuation of the citizens.
Having just returned from a request and another futile attempt to find Tsunami Maria entered the peaceful village of Oak Town. This place could really use something to make it stand out. But what could a plain and simple town like this do to stand out? Maria thought while she was walking towards the streets in a fast pace. Now and then someone greeted her, she got the feeling the townsfolk was getting used to having her around here. She wasn't really famous, but the amount of people that recognized her was raising with the day. That or maybe it was just that mark on her shoulder. She at least hoped it was the mark on her shoulder, not the one on her back. She didn't want people to see that, or at least not now. At least it was covered under her clothing so the chances of it standing out were slim. She shouldn't bother about it so much, so what if they find out? It wouldn't be that bad wouldn't it? Of course there was one person that knew about it, but she had disappeared some time ago. What was it with all the people disappearing in her life? Again, she was thinking it over to much. She needed to calm down a bit.
She went to the edge of the forest and first climbed up in the tree and sat down on a relatively low branch. Looking around it really looked serene around here. It had been a long journey back to this place, especially after that boring job she sent out to do. But she couldn't help it mages have to eat too.
Tyr plopped down next to a tree in the woods outside of oak town. She was alone for probably the first time in weeks; not that she minded her sister's presence in the least, but even dragons needed a bit of alone time to stay sane, and Pyrath was using said time to soar around in the sky somewhere. She'd probably be back in an hour or three. Who knew? Time wasn't the most relevant factor to a being that didn't die from old age. Tyr considered napping; she had a habit of just forgetting to sleep when she was excited about something, and the young dragon was often excited.
Or at least, she was considering it until the scent of a nearby human appeared. "Huh?" Tyr hopped up rather quickly (and gracefully; wind magic was useful like that), brushing off her dress-like tunic, which she pulled down a bit just to make she was presentable to the humans who were so weird about the cloth and leathers they tended to wear. Her green hair was in a ponytail, so there was little she needed to do with it. It was a little messy, but she'd never cared that much. Wind magic made it hard to keep hair in line anyway.
The young dragon was quite used to her human form after several months of spending a lot of time in it. She even liked it. It helped that it was more of a disguise than a transformation, so she didn't have to learn to deal with a lot of human things. "Whachu doing up there?" she asked from behind the human girl. She was looking up at her, her expression pretty much exactly that of a curious young teen or preteen girl (it was hard to tell, to be honest). "Hanging around? Maybe pretending you're an acorn. Hm that would be interesting to do, although without a tail I bet you just couldn't get the same effect..."
