appearance
Piercing violet eyes fill the gaze of a woman of beauty, grace and power, with cascading strands of gold carefully woven into her rounded scalp, complimenting her smooth porcelain skin. Her almond shaped eyes are surrounded by thick and luscious eyelashes, often painted with midnight colored mascara, which bring out her sultry grey visage; with carefully arched eyebrows placed on her forehead. Plump pink lips are almost always naturally pouted, subtly revealing a hint of her sparkling white enamel, which seem to be naturally straight. Her ears are round and mid sized and her head is an ovular shape.
Vivienne's blonde locks are usually straight and free, flowing behind her graceful form, with a pair of Chinese bangs carefully cut into the front. She does prefer to put her hair into a high ponytail during missions, but she'll usually leave her bangs to hang freely in front of her observant and judging eyes. With stray strands laying on her plump cheeks, though her hair is almost always sensually hugging her neck and adding a bit more shape to her head.
A slight hourglass shape forms Vivienne’s model like physique, standing at a peaking height of 5'11'', and rounding out to 160lbs even. Her legs are long and well defined along with her round shaped bottom fitting her rather wide, seductive hips which she usually shows off when out and about. Taking great pride in her wonderful body and shape, resulting in Vivienne wearing clothing which give vision to her incredibly perky bust. Always pushed up even more and crushed together by her bra's, threatening to spill out should she exert too much physical movement. Though she usually wears a school girl-esque outfit when working as not to be too immodest.
personality
Despite her name being that of a life, Vivienne is far from unwilling to take one in the name of justice; and preserving life to act reminiscent of her name would be insulting her own intellect. Though she is a wizard and Templar, the young blonde is a woman who follows her own rules, and anyone who doesn’t like it will simply have to deal with it. This philosophy is generally shown in how she treats tasks, taking her own morals above the decision of anyone else’s (especially those of high wealth), discriminating against the rich because of their unwillingness to help her family regain it’s lost fortune. These same traits also cause her to surprise others after meeting her, as they expect her to be as delicate as her features suggest and this is far from the truth. Giving her the nickname of a “Merciless Angel”.
While some may see Vivienne’s personality as that of a robin hood stereotype, it is actually more a personal feeling and much less a political philosophy or statement. She has little but contempt for higher authority, and seems to only respect those who treat her with equal respect. Going so far as to call a Wizard Saint or higher ranked Templar out on their way of speaking to her, and demanding they speak to her as if she were on equal standing with them; as she doesn’t like being treated as if her existence holds less importance. Wanting for a world where every person holds equal importance and influence, even though such a thing is unlikely to happen.
Vivienne also tends to refuse to rely on anyone but herself to save her own life, though she is more than happy to use said things when stuck in a bind not even she can escape from, not that she would admit it. Not even to herself. She also contradicts herself in the fact that the young wizard wishes to be rich again, partly because it also assures her that she need never worry about feeding herself or clothing herself or any of the myriad things that she will never take for granted compared to most of the world. Another part of her simply wishes to spread her wealth to those she knows or sees struggling to survive so that poverty can be eradicated.
The young woman also has diverse views on men, with a mixture of distrust (an attitude hardly limited to the male gender) and contempt, with a decent helping of willingness to prey on what she sees as their weaknesses. This obvious distrust originating from her relationship with her father as well as her interactions with other men, whose only desire was to use her body in perverse ways. This has lead to Vivienne defining herself as a woman who doesn’t need any men in her life; her opinion of men not being improved any by the men she deals with on a daily basis. Dealing with civilians and fellow Templar eyeballing her svelte frame understandably gets entirely tiresome after a short time of exposure. However she is willing to use her sexuality to control and influence men around her, using them to get food, clothes, or even money, without ever sleeping with them; she’s smarter than people think.
Vivienne could honestly count the number of individuals who she trust with her life on one hand, with such a number being generous. Her past and profession teaching her that she could only truly rely on herself and her need to be independent tends to make her keep others at a distance so they don’t tie her down. Not letting anyone define or limit her other than herself; Hell, even her arguably closest friends just don’t ‘get’ Vivienne, which is how she likes it. Brushing off attempts to get close to her with snide of sarcastic remarks, which often come out more hurtful and aggressive than she intends but she doesn’t mind, it gives people a taste of what she can dish out. On the other hand, those friends she does have should not be trifled with or she will fight as hard for them as she would for herself.
Determination is Vivienne’s middle name and if something is obstructing her path, she will do whatever it takes to overcome such a set back. Having literally fallen, and dragged herself up from the lowest of poverty to where she stands now, and the sky is the limit. Whatever it takes, she will keep going and, whatever obstacles life throws into her path, she will either learn from them, find a way to overcome them or avoid them. Vivienne is intensely proud of her abilities and success, and equally stubborn but she enjoys what she does – the danger, the thrill of violence, that sort of thing.
One thing everyone can agree upon is that Vivienne is in possession of a dangerously sharp tongue, with most of her conversations resembling verbal fencing matches where she constantly tries to taunt, infuriate or otherwise distract her opponents so she can get the better of them. As noted earlier, she will also take full advantage of her looks (shamelessly) in any situation she can, while she employs sarcasm and a biting wit with equal skill as her weapons. Though there are a few subjects that are absolutely verboten (such as her mother) and these will earn the offender a rapid rise in her irritation. Of course she will never admit to it, naturally, and most things slide off her back easily enough, even if the other can keep Vivienne’s own taunts from distracting them.
It is also important to note that Vivienne can be a vindictive, spiteful creature who takes great pleasure in repaying those she sees as wronging her in inventive and unpleasant ways. Mocking those she beats in fights, crippling opponents in ways others would likely never consider and is generally a bad person in a lot of ways. That is absolutely fine by her, Vivienne enjoys being a ‘bad girl’ and has little intention of giving up her ways for anyone who can‘t prove them ineffective. That said, she generally limits her attentions to those who hurt her and most people are safe from her – so long as they aren’t threatening her interests or close friends.
history
Lady Vivienne Arthur was born into a noble family in the land of Fiore, with her mother and father both being involved in trade, and weapons distribution. Literally sitting on an overflow of funds, the Arthurs were a very prestigious family and as such Lord Cullen Arthur had his daughter trained in the art of combat from an early age. The young girl would become a master of nearly every weapon known to man as well as a master of hand to hand combat through the method, and would pile her physical work ontop of mental work. She was always studying, learning about weapons and regular school work and she took a great interest in Mythology. Gods, Goddesses, Kings, Emperors and the likes all satisfied her taste for further knowledge and soon she was an expert in those fields. Her parents took great pride in their daughters skill and intellect and had decided that she would take over their industry when they were gone, and that's when tragedy struck.
Lady Victoria Arthur was killed by a group of low life thieves who despised the wealth, and the good Lord didn't know how to cope. He started making poor and rash decisions in his mourning, and even hired assassins to kill the men who were responsible but it was too late. While the men were killed, so too was the fortune that the family had amassed over the years due to being hit with constant theft and bad business choices. They were, literally, dirt poor. Vivienne, now 14, was now forced to live on the streets in hunger and shame while still mourning the loss of her dear mother. Yet there was still hope, hope in the form of close family friends who would be sure to help them regain their fortune but this wasn't the case.
The other noble families turned their backs on the poor Arthurs who had worked their way into poverty and had no remorse in doing so, showing just how false their friendship was. They didn't care about the Arthurs or their loss, they only associated with them because of their money and this stuck with Vivienne until this day. She would vow to get her family back into noble standing and help all the other poor families she was now surrounded by, she would be a beacon of light in this dark world. Having hidden her last valuable that was to be sold, she had begun to leave to train her combat and read the book she had hidden from her father. A book on the art of Requip, though with her expertise in Mythology she put her own twist on the magic.
Keeping her magic a secret, Vivienne had decided at the age of 17 that she was old enough to start making a change in their standing and so she began taking missions from the town bulletion board. She would leave for hours on end and return with a sack of jewel for her father, who was shocked and believed his daughter to have become a thief or a harlot. Vivienne however couldn't tell the man what she was doing in fear that he would turn her away having become ashamed of her being a wizard and so she worked in secret for the betterment of her family. Earning enough Jewel for her father to get a nice apartment, she would send him jewel for rent and food until he had finally decided to restart his business.
Going to work for the Templars at the age of 23, Vivienne left home to pursue a better career and start her own fortune. Meanwhile her father is slowly working his way up from a basic trader to his old role as a business force. Though he still has a long way to go and years to find his old standing, he still lives in the apartment his daughter helped him buy. It has been two years since Viv began working for the Templars and she also continues to take missions as a way to make quick money, supporting her fathers business and her own living.
Primary Magic
Name: Requip: Mythos Description: This Magic allows the users to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. Requip can be used for simple or combat-related purposes. Some users may just choose to use it to change their clothing, while more skilled users are able to Requip different weapons in battle, and it is even possible to Requip armors in the midst of battle. Vivienne’s magic allows her to Requip armors and weapons based on the figures of ancient mythology.
