Fairy Tail Revolution
After having joined Fairy Tail Tatsuma sets out exploring the world. He bids the wolf pack that took over raising him when his dragon mother Rhidran left him goodbye, and begins his own grand adventure.
During this adventure Tatsuma makes friends with Charlotte Von Argon, Raven Flametongue, Kotone Hoshino, and many others. This was also the time that he met Kade Lazarus during a fight with a dark guild that was kidnapping people, storing them away, draining their magic, and killing them. Due to a philosophical difference, it made Tatsu his first enemy, unbeknownst to him it was another dragon slayer. Despite the fact that the man calling the shots ordered his henchmen to kill them, and that the man had tried to kill them, Kade didn't agree with Tatsuma killing the henchmen, nor did he agree with him having injured the boss and went to finish him off. This situation led to him generally feeling alienated from Lamia Scale as a whole.
After the battle with the dark guild and while continuing to take out dark guilds and dark guild strongholds Tatsuma ran into a girl named Verity Lolepher. She didn't judge him for the most part, and seemed to know how to handle him even though their first meeting was a fight. Through random chance and despite their last parting, the girl ended up at Tatsuma's apartment, double booked because of an error made by the landlady. Instead of throwing a fit and fighting over it, the two decided to become room mates and live together.
Tatsuma's life took a very dark turn the day The Shadow Lord, of the dark guild "Shadow Heart" attacked Fairy Tail. It was that day that he went rogue and started forming his own small team to attack and destroy the Shadow Lord and Shadow Heart. Over time Tatsu fell very deeply for Verity, though despite all the sexual tension, nothing ever actually happened between the two until the day Tatsu told her that he was going to fight the shadow lord on his own. Viewing it as a death wish, and remembering that her sister died in a similar fashion, she grew angry at him, and that anger turned to confusion when he kissed her. He wouldn't find out until much later right before his battle with the Shadow Lord.
After months of planning, training, information gathering, contact coercion, creating small teams with individual missions, and creating an environment in which he could let loose and unleash all of his power, Tatsuma finally faced down the shadow lord. Unfortunately he wasn't aware that the enemy had gotten some information, not until he had sensed that the city in the immediate area was empty. Despite the sudden upset, Tatsuma fought the shadow lord as it was recorded and broadcast all the way across Fiore. Despite all the planning and preparation, Tatsu was finally defeated by the Shadow Lord, and killed. When Tatsuma Died, he found himself in the thousand hells, more specifically in Kakuri, the night realm.

After going to the thousand hells, Tatsuma managed to escape with a little bit of help out of Kakuri, he moved through several different layers of hell, collecting magical knowledge and gathering power and weapons, he finally came to the crossroads of the two bridges in the underworld. There, he had the decision to cross the bridge of the Scarlett lady, the bridge that crosses from the dead world into the world of the living for those who belonged to the world of the living, while the bridge of the ebon dragon was for those who had died and were ready to take on the trials of the dead in order to return to the world of the living. This was the bridge that he took.
