Akatsuki nodded as the first drinks arrived. "It's different for Shinichi and myself because we use spirit magic so we're literally talking to the source for our magic, but everyone can still talk to their magic. You could try meditating and thinking of your magic as a conscious entity. You might even find something new out about yourself." He suggested. It was pretty standard for spirit mages, but most wizards didn't quite think of their magic as something alive. "For instance, you put together mana and use it to form bonds in spells to create some sort of effect. If you think about it, it's essentially communicating with your denomination of magic. You're already giving it orders with your mana, but that same mana could be used to talk to it. There's nothing wrong with doing this and I feel it can be beneficial... then again I could just be bias." He said, thinking about his spirit magic since it was literally communicating with elemental spirits.
As the food arrived, it hit home that the night was going to be coming to an end very shortly. It was his last day to spend any time with his friend, but it didn't seem like he was going to be able to do much before he left. Instead he started eating once he had finished his thoughts.
