appearance
Silver hair, medium build toned with muscle, blue eyes. A mix of short and long hair, she usually keeps her hair in a braid and what is not in the braid frames her face. Her uniform consists of a black shirt and pants, military grade boots with a white open faced cloak that ends just a few inches above the ground. The left corner, over her heart, is embroidered with the Templar insignia. A specific set of armor, designed by her and enhanced with her magic. Made with steel of which its endurance is increased and flexible due to her metal magic. A set of arm guards cover her arms from wrist to elbow, a slim breastplate, and steel shoulder pads make up that armor. When not in uniform, her normal attire consists of jeans and shirts with sayings on them or tank tops. Asa, her canine companion, is usually at her side. Almost always on her person is a ball of steel about the size of half her palm, whether in her pocket or in a pouch. This steel ball can be formed into anything she needs though her general use is slim needles, hard to see, to cause multiple lacerations upon enemies. Her choice of weapon is a pair of Manji Sai she has strapped to her back, handles towards the ground allowing for easy unsheathing.
Asa- Black mane, striped body. Weighs in at close to a hundred pounds and her head reaches Silver’s chest. A small, powerful lacrima is hidden within her fur on her chest. The lacrima’s sole purpose is regenerative. Powerful in its purpose, Silver will not admit where she obtained such an artifact. Rumors have it, she bought it off the black market. Such rumors popular due to the fact of her being a templar. Highly intelligent creature, she can understand most of what is said, she is trained in hand signals.
PERSONALITY
Positive-
Kind
Honest
Determined
Free Spirit/ Spontaneous
Dependable
Loyal
Negative-
Jaded- concerning matters of the heart
Stubborn
Moody- Her moods, at times, can change randomly and quickly.
Tough to let others in
Vengeful- If wronged, she will almost always take it to the next level.
Silver is kind most often than not. She is slow to anger and quick to action. How she feels is generally displayed upon her face. Silver will speak her mind and give you honesty before all else, feelings be damned. She lived most of life quiet, afraid to rock the boat, and stuck under someone else’s thumb. If you were to put who she was and who she is now side by side they would be almost complete opposites. In her opinion time is to short to waste on lies, even small ones. Very independent she relies on no one, her last resort asking for help. She does not believe in love. It creates a biasness that causes one to second guess themselves and put them in sticky situations- no pun intended. Her response to marriage and those married is laughter. She would entertain a relationship and is even capable of monogamy but don’t hold your breath if your waiting to hear her tell you she loves you. Jaded in matters of the heart, she is mostly a good person.
HISTORY
Her story is simple, her story is short, her story however is not that sweet and maybe just to the side of boring as those who are born poor and in the wrong side of town often are. It starts out relatively happy, as most lives often do. She was born in a hospital with a mother and a father, and even a dear older brother, by six years give or take a month or so. Now, her father was not the father of her older brother. See, her older brother’s father had stayed in his life for about five years before he skipped town. Not that much later her father entered the picture and soon, as these things often go, she was born. Life was happy for awhile, as happy as a baby’s life goes. Until around the age of six, her father left the picture to appear periodically throughout the years. Though her father was not responsible and was really only ever a friend. Now her mother, single with two kids, worked very hard, day and night to provide for her and her brother. For a long time her mother worked two jobs. There was always food on the table. There were always clothes on their backs. Though she was bullied for her hand-me-down clothing. Now through the years her mother had other boyfriends but never anymore kids. Boyfriend one, he stayed the longest, was kind on the outside but had cruel eyes. He often threw her cat off their porch until one day her cat no longer came back. Time went on. She got a different cat. This one stayed but the boyfriend did not. Boyfriend two came along. He was a drunk and spoke mean things. She had a dog. A white dog named RJ. He would always call her dog Snowball. It made her angry. But what made her angry the most is the nights she heard boyfriend two hitting her mom though her mom never let on what was happening and never knew that she knew. One day she, age of ten or so, pulled a knife on boyfriend two. Told him what would happen if he continued his evil ways. He told her mother what she did and when she defended herself, he lied and said he did not say mean things. Her mother believed boyfriend two. This was the beginning of a downward spiral for her. It was about this time she was abused. Abused in that awful way, that unspeakable way. Her confidence in her family was no longer there. So it went unchecked. Boyfriend two stole all their money and left. There ended her mother’s ‘love’ life. Life went on. They moved from time to time. Hardships were had. The abuse continued until she was around 13 or maybe 14. Her memory from before 16 is very fuzzy. And most often now if she recalls a memory from before 16, she is unsure if she can trust it. Is it real or is it fake? No one knows. Not even her. Her defense against her abuse was to forget. To pretend. It worked well. So well it erased it until only the scars on her soul remained. Not even her childhood had a chance.
During her preteen and teen years, her brother joined a gang. It brought trouble to her house and to her person as rival gangs knew she was his sister. Her brother eventually got kicked out and things were quiet for a time. If anything her brother served as a good reminder on what not to do in life. Sad but true.
At the age of 17 she married. A whirlwind romance. Puppy love. Now her husband, not but a year older, joined the military. Whether the military changed him or it was his true nature is up for debate. Married life was not as sweet as described but she persevered. Some time passed. She was depressed, down trodden. There was little confidence to be had. Emotional and mental abuse were very much present. Arguments were more often than not. It came to the point of where she was very nearly broken. But once again on the inside. The outside was what others wanted to see and nothing more.
Something changed. A small glimmer of courage, of hope, of spirit or maybe a vision of death. She packed a bag with just the necessities and left. She left behind who she was, everything associated with the person she had become and repulsed. She became a wanderer. A lost soul trying to find her way back from the darkness. She traveled many places, met many people. Came upon another lost soul, abandoned. A canine of a sort she named Asa. Together they became a team. Finally she settled, training to become a Templar. To help those that cannot help themselves. She reinvented herself; becoming Silver Aurelius Steele. A few years passed, she flourished, made a name for herself. Jaded on the inside but just in her ways. Asa, now a ninety-five pound beast of pure muscle, always at her side. Silver opened a bar called The Dancing Dog. When not working for the Templars, she was at The Dancing Dog. She lived in a section above the bar. The rest of the upper level offered rooms for whoever. There was a large building in the back that held many more rooms, these were reserved for street rats, runaways, and orphans. Silver’s soft spot was children. Often a headache for Captain Lockhart, a bit loose in the strict ways of the law yet can be extremely aggressive with cases that hit close to home. Possibly holding the record for most complaints- mainly from upper class citizens. But because she got the job done, she was kept on as a Templar and advanced up in rank as time went on. Though, it could also be the fact that she spoke the truth as she saw it, consequences be damned. Brutally honest and not an ass kisser. Silver rose in ranks but denied being responsible for younger recruits. She is not a typical Templar, often only working with her canine, and those who frequent her bar know this. It is also known that the uniform means nothing in her bar. Her word is law there. A reason why it is popular among the locals despite her being a Templar and those of the uniform often being there.
Primary Magic
Name: Metal Caster Magic
Description: A basic but versatile Caster-type Magic that allows her to manipulate any metal existing around the area. Also, her metals aren't limited to her using only things such as iron or steel, so she can use any metal from gold, silver and bronze to copper, aluminum, and platinum. It allows her to call metal to her. For example, she could 'call' enemies’ blades to her. She can identify metals by touch; feel an impression of previous owners. She could 'call' metals from within the earth. Though it depends on the richness of the soil and how deep and spread out the metals are as this would take time and lots of magic.
Signature Ability
Name: Living metal- Vivens Metallum Element: Metal
Description: The armor in which she wears becomes malleable similar to water and flows to the location she indicates. For example if she were going to take a particular heavy hit to her side, she could direct her armor to become viscous and reform upon her side, hardening and absorbing the blow decreasing the damage to her person. Or she can reform her armor into additional weapons.
