Raven stands a good 6’3” with broad shoulders and a well defined body. He bears a few scars from years of fighting, mostly across his middrift and back. But there is a scar over the top of his left hand. Red hair reflects the light rather vibrantly, and contrasts with his golden draconian eyes.
Over that he wears a lighter coloured, sometimes white, long sleeved shirt and long black pants. Over that is a much longer black coat that reaches his ankles, replacing the old leather jacket he used to use. The back is once again emblemized with his favorite crimson dragon wings, though now the ends of the sleeves and the botome of the coat are designed to look like claws. Over his feet are a pair of black, leather boots, and fingerless black gloves are a usual choice for Raven’s hands. Rounding it out is the darkly tinted sunglasses he almost always wears.

Raven is, on the surface, a seemingly carefree man. He’s almost always smiling, and never seems to take the situation seriously. He can often be found with some kind of alcohol on him, though he doesn’t always drink. Despite all that however, he does very little flirting, and does his best not to gamble.
Beyond the surface Raven is a very torn individual. He’s seen quite a bit of the darkness inside humanity. Additionally, he regrets killing Draco, his surrogate father and teacher of his fire dragon slayer magic. Despite all that he strives to better the world so others don’t have to make the choices he did.
On the other side, he has a woman whom he loves, and twins that he’s done his best to raise up right. He’s come a long way since the fall of the empire and shadow heart, opening up to certain people more. These people see the older Raven for who he really is.
In battle, or when on a project Raven’s confidence is unshakable. So unshakable in fact that it’s not uncommon for him to get into avoidably bad situations. And in battle, he feels that he is nearly unbeatable. And who could blame him, having slain an actual dragon. That said, he feels bad for having killed Draco, and thus doesn’t rely on his magic as much as he used to.
history
Raven’s story is quite a lively one. When he was too young to remember his family was killed by bandits marauding the western half of Fiore during the first invasion. Draco found and raised him, both in body and spirit, and taught him his Dragon Slayer magic. Barely a teenager Raven was left by Draco to fend for himself.
In the years following he grew close to and lost people, leaving the struggling young man with no real anchor in life that he could go to. This led to many questionable decisions that cost him dearly in the years to come. Including making friends like Kotone into enemies.
In an attempt to unify Fiore, Raven actually helped Shadow Heart for a time. He was loost and struggling to find his footing in life. He'd thought he could change the organization from the inside. However, during the final battle against the Shadow Lord, Raven helped the heroes defeat him.
Raven was also present during the second Valland invasion and unlike this time sidedd with Fiore. After the fall of one of Valland's most well renowned generals, Raven found himself deep within the borders of Valland, where he befriended the then crowned princess. After spending some time there, the counter attack force finally caught up, and he was able to help put down her father.
During the downtime, as things fell apart, Raven hooked up with a few people from the crumbling empire and has begun laying the foundation for a more peaceful era by traveling abroad. However, it wasn't long before trouble struck again, and Raven found himself caught up in it.
Draco and the other dragons returned, but not themselves. Instead, Raven found himself in a life or death battle against Draco himself, Raven's adoptive father. The battle was fierce, but in the end Raven stood triumphant over the fire breathing wyrm. It was a very bittersweet victory for hiim however, as he was forced to kill Draco.
It's been a year, and Raven's been forcing himself forward on a path he can no longer see. The rebuilding efforts have been going smoothly, but Raven himself has been in a seemingly inescapable depression... And that's where Raven's story picks up.
