Lucy yawned quietly as she tried to sleep, it was the middle of the day and she spent the entire night awake wandering around and even though she seemed to be alone, she didn’t feel safe falling asleep now. The young dragon slayer yawned feeling tried she hugged her husky teddy bear that an old lady gave her, it was one of her treasures and best friends.
The young girl stretched before hugging her husky “Well I guess since I can’t sleep, we should go for a walk, but what should we do and where should we go” she asked breathing in the air the wind dragon slayer ate enough just to give herself some energy and picked herself up, hugging her stuffed husky Lucy left the park wand walked around town holding her stuffed husky teddy bear, although she was young Lucy had many dreams. Like wanting to join a guild and make friends, she also wanted to find her adoptive father Daedenary.
Lucy had to admit she did get really lonely, since she got lost, she missed her adoptive father even though he was really serious and peculiar at least by human standards. No matter how much she looked, she couldn’t find him “we need to find a guild to join soon Mr Husky, and then we can go on adventures like the wizards in the pub and when we go on adventures we will be able to see new places and maybe talk to someone who knows where daedenary is, but how can we join a guild, im just a little girl and you’re an adorable husky, we aren’t really impressive or flashy” she spoke and frowned as she made it onto the busy streets. The girl knew her husky was a toy, but she liked to make believe he was real. The young girl stopped in front of the ice cream shop and looked through the window, she could see all the different ice cream and the way they looked so tasty it was enough to make her mouth water.
Lucy sniffled as she knew she didn't have money for ice cream and walked away from the ice cream shop, she continued to walk for a great while clutching her husky teddybear, She looked at the gates of fairy tail and saw the pretty symbol "ooo pretty. this must be a wizards guild. i need to join it and go on adventures" she spoke to her stuffed husky, the girl bit her bottom lip and with a large amount of effort she stepped forward into the grounds of the guild and walked towards the guild entrance, she looked at the guild doors and bit her bottom lip a little harder hoping for some courage to open the door.
(Why someone would hate you for that is beyond me.)
Today was not a good day, well technically that wasn't true, that description should be extended to this entire week. the last time he got home he ran into a crazy guy who's stage exploded and launched him all the way back to the Blazing Wood Worth Sea. Then he had to trek all the way back here and who was this little girl standing at his front door? The giant sighed and mimed shifting his hat upon his head, because it wasn't there, another factor of his over all week sucking, and walked towards the door. he was about to clear his throat to get the young girls attention, ask her if she needed any help when he heard growling. The Giant blinked and looked up and about to locate the source of the sound when a shadow was cast over him. Atrum's gaze rose up to see a wolf the size of a rather large horse falling towards him.
"Oh No." he managed as the wolf landed on him, pinning him to the ground and assaulted him with it's tongue. Atrum started laughing at this point, he couldn't help it the wolf's tongue was tickling him, wait was this oversized canine? "Little one is that you? Four years and you grew up so much!" The Vargr made a growling sound and the Giant wrapped his arms around his faithful companion. "Hells I missed you!... but could you get off? Those four years made you....huge." He said the Canine growling again before a large puff of smoke and the Giant horse sized canine was replaced by the tiny pup he had left four years ago. "Oh, uhh, you got your own magic. That's rather amazing actually." He said standing up and putting the pup on his shoulder. "I'd love to keep this reunion going but I think our guild has a guest." He said looking over at the small child.
"Hello there my name is Atrum Furea, I am a memberof Fairy Tail, may I help you?"

Lucy hugged her husky plush tighter the nerves getting the best of her, she could feel herself tremble, what only made it worse was the sudden growl that made Lucy flinch, she didn’t expect to be attacked by just walking to a big place like this. The girl managed to build up the courage to turn around to look when she saw a giant looking man with a doggie falling from out of nowhere licking the giant man.
Lucy blinked watching the scenario, the gient laughing as the doggie licked him, she over heard the giant talk to his doggie, apparently he hadn’t seen his dog in four years, Lucy eyes widen as the horse sized doggie vanished in a puff of smoke and replaced with a puppy, she had to admit that was adorable.
The young wizard more than anything wanted to pet the real life puppy, but she didn’t want to make her husky plush jealous and betray it especially since the husky puppy had become her best friend, that and she was too scared to move, Lucy watched as the giant stood up and put the puppy on his shoulder, When she listened to the man’s introduction her eyes widen “member….of…fairy tail” she whispered in awe, Lucy forgot all about her fear and shyness “Fairies, you’re a fairy….i can’t believe it a real life fairy, I want to be a fairy princess….MR fairy man can I be a fairy princess please please please” she pleaded excitedly, there were only three things lucy loved above all else, dragons, huskies and fairies. the young orphan looked up at the giant and blinked innocently.
Tatsuma rolled into Magnolia waist deep in wolves. The pack that he had made friends with when he was a kid had decided they missed him and he didn't have the heart to use his magic to affect their minds to make them leave... unfortunately his general behaviors weren't working right now either. Bearing that in mind he sparked with electricity, creating the scent of Ozone that was the last indication he was needing them to go. With a whimper and a look back, the wolves headed back out to the forest, though the citizenry look a bit uneasy between seeing the giant wolf that had jumped down on Atrum and the pack of wolves that had run into the town, most of them were now clearing the street.
It wasn't until he made it to the door that he found himself standing toe toe to... well it was toe to toe but he was still about two feet back from Atrum and apparently there was a girl standing there that he had never seen. His visits back to the guild when he wasn't assigned some random detail as a Wizard Saint were generally packed with some sort of surprise. The surprises in this case came from the presence of the aforementioned girl and Atrum... Without a hat... his friend always had the hat on. What was more, was that the bio electric signature of the girl reminded him of Tyr, a wind dragon he had met while he was away, but the differences in the aura were too significant. It occurred to him that she might be a dragon slayer, but the ones that didn't want you to know that tended to be rather stubborn about insisting they weren't so he let that drop. "Is there some sort of bring your kids to work day? Because I can leave and get mine really quick." He suggested, scratching the back of his head somewhat nervously.
(Should probably read Tatsu's history to see how he dealt with things when they got crazy to see how his and Atrum's relationship would've been but that sounds like work.)
Oh blazing Hell's this little one was adorable, there was a sharp pain in atrum's chest, he tried not to grasp his heart and shook his head to clear it. Small children were always difficult for him to deal with, he had a hard time saying no to them. These soft spots for cute things was going to kill one day he was convinced of it by this point. Atrum opened his mouth to answer when the hair's on his arm's rose and the smell of ozone filled the air. Tatsuma, had to be, he was the only person who made him react like that. Atrum wasn't sure if he was convinced that his friend wasn't dead. There was something that didn't sit right with him but his...trip through time and space must've messed with his head.
"Tatsuma, you have a child? I mean I know it's been four years, but you always seemed a bit averse to that kind of relationship. Or maybe that was me being a busybody." He chuckled, turning to the man that had died on him going out to fight the shadow lord alone. Atrum was still holding that grudge, did he punch Tatsuma for that yet? He couldn't remember, his memories were rather messed in general...in fact he didn't remember seeing him in that last battle against the shadow lord... Screw it his memories were too unreliable at the moment for him to care. "Nice to see you again." He said before turning to the small girl.
"So little one, you want to be a Fairy Princess?" He asked raising an eyebrow, he had no idea how to react to that. She wanted to be a Fairy Princess? Did she think that members of Fairy Tail were actual Fairies? How should he react to her? "Tell me little one." He said crouching down to get a better look at this walking impending heart attack. "Does this mean you wish to join our guild?"

Lucy blinked at the giant man, he left her hanging in her request to be a fairy princess, she wanted an answer, she looked at the newcomer and as she breathed in the air through her nose and exhaled she frowned, as the adults talked and she had no idea what was going on wow this guy looks big and scary, but I am sure mr fairy man would be able to pulverize him[/i] the little girl thought to herself while she was left hanging she watched the guy scratch the back of his head “I wonder if he has head lice” she whispered quietly to herself,
Lucy did give a small wave to the male for a moment and blinked she stayed close to the giant and as the fairy man looked back at her she nodded her head wanting to be a fairy princess, she watched him crouch down and was surprised that he asked her, the little blue hair girl was surprised that the man asked her to join the guild she smiled and leaned towards the fairy man to whisper “I would love to join your guild MR Fairy man” she responded her smile still plastered on her face
The little girl hugged him excitedly and let go before jumping on the spot, she couldn’t believe it she was going to become the princess of fairies, and she would have her own happily ever after story.
(I skimped on a few details in Tatsu's history but I can save you some time and energy. Tatsuma [as Mystogan] and the other personality "Mu" merged during the final fight with the shadow lord so that Tatsuma returned to normal with memory of his time in the thousand hells [A.K.A. the void] afterwards he disappeared for a bit until the incident with Nox and the dragons coming up where he disappeared for a small amount of time before helping to destroy Nox's dragon control device. Now he's a Saint Wizard and still a member of Fairy Tail. Can probably assume that Atrum and Tatsu have had some friendly interactions but I'm sticking to Tatsu wanting a rematch with Atrum for the fight they had the day he joined Fairy Tail. lol *READERS DIGEST VERSION FTW*)
Tatsuma's senses weren't as sharp as the other dragon slayers. His sight was as good as any, but his hearing, smell, and taste weren't as sensitive. It was due to this that he often missed things that the others caught, or caught things that the others missed due to his other sense, but his hearing was still sharp enough to catch the girl whispering. He of course heard her when she called Atrum Mr. Fairy Man and couldn't contain himself as he busted out laughing. He couldn't help hearing his giant friend called "Mr. Fairy Man" was just too rich and he was kind of jealous he hadn't thought of the name himself.
Once he caught his composure he answered Atrum's question. "Well one kid I didn't know I had until his mom showed up and dropped him off and the other one died in child birth. Either way I'm pretty much just kind of raising to future Fairies for you to help train Mr. Fairy Man." He spoke the last part of Atrum's new nickname with a half bow. "So, mind if I tag along while you guys go see the old man? I mean that's up next right?" He asked, looking at Atrum and then back to the girl then back to Atrum and back to the girl. "What was your name again?" He asked her with a sheepish grin on his face.

Oh dear gods this was a mistake, she was gonna make his heart explode he just knew it. This little one was just too adorable, he was going to need to be careful around her if he didn't want to have a heart attack. The giant stood up after the sudden hug, well she was happy, that was good at least. The giant looked back over to Tatsuma as he burst out laughing, let him laugh. The little nickname wasn't the worst thing he had ever been called, they can have it if they wanted it. He gave Tatsuma a grim smile, that escalated quickly. Atrum wasn't expecting a still born response from his friend. Or that Tatsuma even had children...wasn't he still a kid?
"Well ignoring the depressing part, am I to understand that somehow you missed out on basic..." He paused and turned his attention to the young girl in their presence. "Eh, I'll take a proper crack at you later, right now I suppose you are right. Unless the old man is not here and we have to do things ourselves again. Happens often enough at least to me." He said with a chuckle turning as Tatsuma ask the little one her name. "She did not give it, but it would be nice to have if you are going to be a part of Fairy Tail." He said walking over to the door and opening it to welcome the others. "It is good to be home."

Lucy looked at the the two men, she wasn’t exactly comfortable with the small fairy man, something about him just spooked her. the big fairy man was strong and made a good human shield because of his size. Lucy held her husky plush as she looked at the two, it seemed the small fairy man seemed to be a parental figure, she smiled seeing the half bow and thought it was cute, he asked her a for her name and lucy stepped to hide behind the fairy man.
The girl watched as Mr fairy man walked towards the door and opened it, the girl closed her eyes as a blue magic circle appeared under her and with moments Lucy floated into the sky and landed sitting on Mr fairy man’s shoulder “M….m…my name is Lucy, Lionheart” the young fairy princess stammered shyly, Lucy looked at the wolf puppy and she held her husky plush and plopped it on Mr fairy man’s head before having it hop towards the wolf pup to nuzzle with her husky plush.
Lucy pulled her husky plush back and petted Mr fairy man's head, before looking back at the small fairy man "is he the small fairy man, is he friendly" she whispered to Mr fairy man.

After identifying that the girl was going to be afraid/ignore him for the imminent future Tatsu opted to focus most of his comments on Atrum. He would have punished his own kids for acting like her, but that wasn't his responsibility in this instance. In any event he opted to address her and move on, there was no point in trying to make a kid like you. "It's nice to meet you Lucy, maybe someday I can bring my kids by when you're around so you can meet them." He said with a sincere smile. Maybe it would be good for both of them for her to have someone close to her own age to play with and good for them to meet someone their own age to train with. "Yeah it would make sense if the old man would choose someone for Ace, I don't even care who it is at this point as long as we have someone here to admit people." He said exasperatedly.
"And three....two...one... " Tatsu counted down for a moment as he waited to see just exactly what kind of shenanigans the guild hall was up to right at this point. Much to his surprise, there didn't seem to be any such things going on at the moment but the day was still young and there was no telling what kind of trouble could be started today or by whom!
Atrum could be doing better considering the small girl now sitting on his shoulder and currently playing with the little one on his other. She seemed determined to make his heart explode, but he would persevere this would be the worst obituary. More to the point was that apparently she was scared of Tatsuma, for reason's he couldn't comprehend. It wasn't like the guy was intimidating, sure he said some things that were disconcerting and his personality wasn't flawless but who was? The guy was practically harmless, especially if he was a father, like tatsuma would go around hurting small children he didn't know. Still the thought amused him that he was the least threatening person here.
"Tatsuma? He is friendly enough, he can be a bit annoying but that is about as bad as he gets." Atrum said knowing full well that Tatsuma's enhanced hearing would pick up the conversation. "He can be a bit of a hot head though, eh still not a bad guy." He said walking into the guildhall he breathed in the air and sighed. "It has been quite a while since I have been here hasn't it? You said Taiga still has not choosen an ace? that is... surprising. What about you have you been well? I missed out on four years of interaction... and where is Tony Redgrave? He is not at the bar being his usual infuriating self." Atrum noticed one of the longer standing members significant absence Redgrave tended to be in the middle of some sort of ruckus, almost like he attracted trouble. Well he might be out doing a mission what mattered now was getting Lucy to meet the old man "Hey everyone I am home, with a guest apparently is Taiga here?" He asked letting everyone know he had finally returned. he would've been home sooner if it wasn't for the crazy guy who was here last week. Or was it the week before? It didn't matter anyways what mattered was whether or not the guildmaster was here.

Lucy looked at the strange guy, and listened to the little fairy man speak, he seemed nice the way he spoke and all, but something about him had unsettled her, she tried to consider things while the two grownups spoke, Lucy bit her bottom lip well Mr fairy man, claims that the guy seems friendly, a bit of a hot head…his name is tatsuma huh, and he has kids too well if he found himself a wife I guess he can’t be all that scary I mean girls don’t like scary men and mr little fairy man said he even had kids so maybe he knows lots of stories[/i] she thought to herself,
Lucy was brought out of her thoughts and startled as mr fairy man spoke to gain the attention of everyone, she flew into the air and hovered floating behind the smaller fairy man, she peeked her head out and looked around as she floated behind the one known as tatsuma, she held her husky plush tight in her hands as she continued to peek out “Mr little fairy man, why is it your so little, but Mr fairy man is so big” she asked in a soft whisper

You wouldn't know it just by looking, but about five minutes ago the Fairy Tail guild hall had been the scene of utter chaos. Apparently, someone thought it would be funny to prank someone with one of those cans of peanut brittle containing spring-loaded, fabric snakes. Except, instead of a toy snake, it was Galdovian Expanding Viper, a creature that grows exponentially at an alarming rate when provoked. And believe you-me, if you had been crammed into a 16-ounce can of peanut brittle, you'd be plenty provoked, too. It took eight men and three women to bring that sucker down, at which point someone mentioned that they heard Galdovian Expanding Vipers were good eatin', so they dragged the carcass to the kitchen to cook it.
And Chryseis "Crisis" Teotwaki was there for the whole thing. Good thing, too, because her illusions kept the guild hall from being razed from the inside. Again. Most of the damage that was done had been cleaned up by the time the trio arrived. Crisis herself was feeling pretty worn out, since she had just come back from a mission herself and was hoping that, against all odds, it might actually be quiet in the guild hall for once.
She was sitting at the bar, drinking a glass of juice, when Tatsuma entered with two people she didn't immediately recognize. The man he was with was positively enormous. There was something vaguely familiar about him, but she was pretty sure she'd remember meeting King Kong before if they had. She didn't even notice the girl until she hopped off the huge man's shoulder. The girl was admittedly cute, and acted like it. The way they were carrying on, the two men, at least, seemed to know each other, and the big guy remarked that he was home and mentioned Taiga. Wait, was he a member? She might not know every single member of the guild, but nonetheless she never expected to see someone like that in this hall.

Tatsu's ears twitched at Atrum's comments. The guy seemed to have more of a memory of how Tatsu was, though he still loved to fight, he wasn't as hotheaded as he used to be... and then the new girl addressed him. Mr. Little Fairy man? Great now his nickname was a worse than Atrum's. He had no idea where Tony was either... not that he could ever recall meeting him in the first place, but he had heard about him. "If you look around you'll see that Atrum is about two feet taller than the next tallest person in the room. He's kind of just a large person, a giant, if you will." He replied. It was the truth, but he already half expected her to question it, his oldest son was already starting that habit and he was already training that out of him. If he was wrong it meant that the girl had an attentive parent, but he wasn't too worried about either outcome.
"Well looks like the guild isn't throwing down and we're pretty much the longest standing members so I'm guessing we're going to end up having to admit her ourselves." He said to Atrum. "I mean it's up to you, but given that Atrum isn't scaring you I'm going to guess you won't be scared of the old man since he is also huge." He said to Lucy.

"Feh, typical, I am gone for four years and little changes hear. Lots of new faces though that is rather nice." He said complaining with a smirk on his face. he was pretty happy really it was nice to be back. "My people are large by nature same with this little one here, who has neglected to tell me if she has chosen a name for herself yet." He said poking the Vargr on his shoulder earning himself a nipped finger in the process. "Do not give me that, we both know that you way to big for shoulder rides, you are just lucky your magic lets you change that." He replied to the small canine's growling.
"I suppose that you are right Tatsuma, we will have to do it ourselves," He started out turning to his friend before pausing a thought occurring to him. "Well Lucy would you like to join now or wait for the guild master? We are fine either way, though we might have to rely on Tatsuma more if things have changed since I have been gone. I could have sworn we had someone that dealt with the paper work, never saw her much though." He trailed off shrugging and walking over to the bar. Sarah who often tended the bar gave him the meanest glare he had ever seen on her face, it didn't help that she looked old enough to be a mother now. She passed him a drink and went back to her job without a word, well looked like he was going to have to apologize to her later then...
"Hey, did Taiga give my room away? I mean I was moving my stuff out into the small cabin I built nearby in the woods, but I still had a lot of stuff in there did anything happen to it?" He asked curious but not wanting to drop what they were doing. He took a sip of his drink and regretted it instantly, why did she give him something alcoholic, and she had to put those bitter herbs in it as well? he must've really ticked her off. "Bleh, I would hope that it just went into storage somewhere that stuff was pretty handy to have around."
