Yeah, the Red Blades at least sounded like a cool mercenary guild or something. Sabertooth, Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale... those all sounded like names made up in some sort of story book to Roxanne. She listened to the girl talk, introducing herself and stating that she was from Sabertooth, though she didn't share her guild's rivalry with Fairy Tail. "The pleasure's mine," she spun around to give Bellua a grin before continuing on her way. She also heard the question to Atrum, even over the giant's stomach rumbling. She crossed her arms in thought; her family had heard of them, for some reason. They didn't seem the type to stick out to her family, but apparently something big enough happened that they'd bothered to find out. "Atrum Furea of the Northern tribes. Teeth like a predator and an endurance unmatched by any other people..."
Then it clicked, and her eyes opened wide. "My parents had a bodyguard from your tribe at one point." She glanced back at him. No, he was too young to have been him. Even with four year skip. "Someone who had left his village to seek his own fortune, and well, his eyes were set on Dad's. He was incredibly handy with an axe, if memory serves. He left their employ when someone with more money offered him a job."
They broke the tree lines after some quick-paced walking and shortcuts that Roxanne had taken them on. In the distance was Shirotsume - the town housing Blue Pegasus, and more importantly, housing the food. "Now, shall we find ourselves a decent place to eat?"

"Oh, I'm quite sure it is." Bellua responded Smiling back at Roxanne before the red head got caught up in trying to remember something. "Oh? Your parents sound like they had some cash to throw around, getting a foreign body guard with that kind of pedigree. Though I think the big guy here would be insulted by the prospect of working for money like that." She laughed aloud his behavior painted him as the overly honorable type, probably thought of himself more like a Knight than a soldier. Well he was holding a human heart earlier... Maybe he was a bit off his rocker, still he seemed way too nice to be a sell sword in her opinion. Though he did come from a different continent right? Different place, different rules. Her home country was small and constantly at war, she wondered what his must've been like to make someone like him. Probably full of things with sharp teeth.
"Oh yeah that sounds like great idea this big guy looks like he's about ready to start eating tree bark at this point." She giggled, glancing back at the man for a second before nudging into Roxanne. "So I suppose we'll be paying for the meal then huh Roxy? I mean I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure he doesn't even realize he most likely doesn't have a Jewel on him." Her smile became significantly more cat like as she continued. "I mean I suppose we could leave him to fend for himself but that'd be just too cruel, teasing him with the idea of food then bailing on him." She personally had no intention of leaving the big guy high and dry, but hey, it's not like she was the nicest person in the world either. Well actually the main reason she was bringing it up was because he looked like he was sizing them up for a meal and she was pretty sure if they paid for his food it would more than a slight impact on their wallets. Besides wasn't it normally the other way around? Nice guys like him paying for the women's meal? Can't stop progress she supposed. "Hopefully he can't eat as much as it looks like he can." She said stifling another laugh at the thought.
"Oh, not at all really, I was a mercenary for years before I came to Fiore." Atrum replied causally in response to Bellua's comment about him being insulted. "Though I offered my services for supplies, weapons, and technology, rather not money. Still the principle's the same, Many of us were hired by outsiders to do jobs they didn't trust to anyone else. We did not accept payment until the job was done if it was short term, and long term accepting payment was a contract of continued service." He explained trying to keep his thoughts off his stomach and how hungry he still was, in fact he didn't hear the young women's private conversation he was so absorbed into ignoring his own hunger. "I do not recall anyone from my village leaving to find a fortune...but there was more than one clan of us, Maybe someone from the Ventus clan? They had a habit of wanting to strike out on their own." He said allowing himself to get lost in thought, He put a hand on his should bracing is as he stretched out his neck.
Not that it mattered he had only seen one other War tribesman and that was a corpse, he had no idea who or what was going on their just that they found the body in crocus. Spooky really. Still rumors and that one dead guy aside he was pretty sure most of his people were wiped out. He tried to remind himself that to keep himself from building unnecessary hope, if their wasn't a chance that many of his people lived he didn't want to get his hopes up for nothing. He'd start getting hopeful when he had at least a bit of evidence more than his family and that one dead guy made it off okay. Right now he should stop worrying about his heritage and focus more on his current life. Get things in order, reintegrate into society, let everyone know he wasn't dead. Train, definitely he had four years to make up for...though he didn't feel like he did before the blast. Sure there was the whole wasting away thing he had going on possible messing with his head, but he felt somehow, larger, and better built... He must be imagining it, first priority was food, second was a bit of rest, a good five minutes or so should do it. After that he'd take things as they came.

Ha! For once Roxy wasn't getting in trouble for making assumptions about big brutish strangers. It was actually kinda nice, that feeling of self-gratification from knowing something that didn't get her in trouble for once. "That sounds right. Not that he wanted to talk to me. I was like, ten and he was a monster of a man. Though..." Roxy stopped and turned partway to size up Atrum. "I think you might actually be a good head taller than him." Atrum was... too tall, really. If her parents had been telling the truth about vegetables when she was a kid, well, she was glad she didn't eat so many.
Roxanne turned back to keep walking, deciding on a restaurant before ducking in with little warning. She threw open the door. Most people didn't stop to look at her, though as per usual when an attractive person walked through a door, a few people took the time to notice... though thankfully none of them took the time to make sure she knew she'd been noticed. It was a nice little grill and bar setup. Normally, Roxy would go to the bar section, but it was likely Atrum was going to need an extra table if he really could eat more than his size made him seem like he could eat. 'My poor savings. If only I could bill Mom and Dad...'
Roxanne sat down at a table that was purposefully next to another empty table, just in case. "Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you there. I got caught up in my thoughts." Roxanne told the other girl after they got sat down. "To answer your question, yeah, my parents are loaded. I'm not, because I'm not them and don't want to be them." They 'were' formerly Fiore royalty back from when Fiore actually had a king like... well, about the time Roxy was born. It wasn't really a time she was too familiar with.
"Alright, now to flag down a waiter..." Hopefully the blond was wrong about her thought that he might be able to eat more than he looked like he could. He looked like he could eat about two of Roxy and still be hungry. "My poor jewels..." she muttered under her breath.

"Oh, Sorry." Bellua snickered as Atrum mentioned being a mercenary, that'd teach her for assuming things. Still that only made the Giant a more interesting person than a cut out of a knight, she had a skip in her step, today was just a blast for her. Oh Roxanne was mention the giant's height, well he definitely was huge. And he was even bigger than the guy her parents hired, but did that mean that this guy was bigger than the average War Tribesman? "Atrum is rather large, If he wasn't so hurt I might've insisted on riding on his shoulder or something, he look like it wouldn't bother him at all. Actually now that I mention it, aren't most people his size those weird body builder guys with muscles at least the size of their heads? Atrum looks like a real person, well a real person who happens to stand a couple heads taller than almost literally everyone else." She said smirking true she was having fun at his expense but hey he was a good sport. what harm was a little fun?
Then Roxanne ducked into a restaurant, rather suddenly actually. She followed behind quickly and looked about the place getting a good look at the place, oh wow it was rather interesting looking. It was so casual kinda like the guildhall she hadn't gone into many establishments unless she was on the job so a place like this filled with people who weren't here only on business was rather refreshing. She sat down next to Roxy, partially because Atrum was covered in dried blood, but mostly because she figured he was going to be using that space in a second. Sitting next to Roxy was a plus as well.
"Oh want to be able to rely on yourself? I can respect that, I left my home for a pretty similar reason." She said putting her head in her hand and resting her elbows on the table. This was a fun day, she wished all her outings turned out like this most of them just ended up with her chatting with an archaeologist for a few hours before realizing he didn't have any information she wanted. Over all boring and wasteful, complete annoyance that left her wanting something with more substance in her day. Oh hello there, Roxy was looking a bit dejected. Well Bellua definitely knew how she was feeling, she was pretty sure she'd have to pitch in to feed their new giant of course she brought her wallet today and little else. In the rare occurrence that she was mugged by someone who was able to mug her she only had what they wanted.
"Thank you? I think? I mean, I know the type of people you are referring to... Had a job a while...a long while back that involved dealing with them." The giant replied remembering the armstrong incident, he immediately starting repressing that particular part of his life, he had never been so embarrassed in his life. Right now however he was more interested in the prospect of food, and quickly followed when the two women suddenly veered into a bar and grill. He didn't recognize the place, but then again, four blazing years... Lot's probably changed since then... "I suppose if you really want to, I do not particularly mind..." Atrum had a hard time dealing with Bellua Roxy was easy for him to respond to but he couldn't tell what the blonde was thinking, was she joking or simply speaking her mind? If she was speaking her mind did that mean that this waiter better hurry up before Atrum lost his patience and ate the table.
Good gods he was too hungry to even focus on anything else thank the gods a waiter was there to take his order. Atrum wasn't sure what he ordered, but judging by the look on the man's face he either ordered a lot, or demanded that the cook bring out a live goat or something. He was honestly too distracted by how hungry he was to focus on the conversation beyond 'I am literally starving'. It took all his strength to not grab the waiter and demand the kitchen give him all of the food. H thought he held back just enough to not feel hungry anymore still a lot but he ate a lot anyways. All he needed was enough to get back on his feet, he should be able to make his way back to magnolia after he got a full stomach....unless he went into a food coma... Naw he was fine. Bellua and Roxy would probably stop him if he started choking or something else unhealthy occurred. At least he was pretty sure, they gave him the impression that he was being assisted more on a whim than anything else, or maybe that was just Bellua, hells he had no idea how to read her.

"I left home because I didn't want to be controlled," Roxanne corrected the blond while Atrum ravenously ordered two of everything on the menu. Oh yeah, she wasn't going to have a penny left after this if Atrum was truly penniless, himself. Still, it was better than the man starving after she helped him. She was no hero, but she also didn't much care to have her efforts wasted, even if they were on a whim. She grinned a sort of rebellious grin. "Now I get to live how I want to live, do what I want to do." The grin, as well as Roxanne's eyes lingered for a moment before turning her attention back to the giant.
"You doing alright, big guy?" She eyed him for a moment before waggling her finger in front of her chin. "You've got a little... a little drool there." She supposed she could give him a pass for being a little gross. He was probably excited to have food in his stomach after four years... or... you know, however that worked.
Roxy sighed, deflating slightly as she watched the cooks cook food with as much speed as possible, hoping the giant wouldn't eat their restaurant in addition to the food. She was a bit peckish, herself, but there was no way there was enough money in her coin purse to afford her own meal as well... even if it was a much more sane single plate of food.

"Now isn't that a motto to live..by...?" Bellua started in reply to Roxy before the sound of Atrum ordering food interrupting her thought process, bringing a silly smile to her face. So what was the right way to express Bellua's feelings at this moment? She had to go with entertained, tinted with just a dash of shock. Atrum just ordered more food in one go than she normally ate in a whole day. She could practically feel her jewels dancing away from her wallet, and yet she was actually having fun. His appetite was frankly hilarious in it's own way She held in a giggle before sliding a napkin the giants way as Roxy mentioned his drool. "This should help, I can't imagine what a ride through time would do to you. At least that's the only explanation I've come up with. Energy deprivation from exposure to some sort of weird time thing." She rattled off her thoughts aloud, she did that a lot, but really it made sense. Large magical explosion, person from four years ago ends up right here and now. Time magic was theory right? She remembered reading something about that, either it was forbidden or it was just theory...
Well whatever, she was a hundred percent certain there was some kind of magical event that threw their new friend across time and space, and that was the long and short of it. She looked over to Roxy and nudged her slightly when she saw the look on her face raising her own wallet and motioning to the menu. "Don't look so down Roxy, I got you covered kay?" she said giving her redheaded friend her best winning smile. Who was she kidding? She was coming out of this as broke as Roxy was if she pulled this. Oh well that was what guild missions were for, she could pad her wallet later. It's not like this was going to screw her immediately anyways, she didn't need jewels for the train. It was more fun to make her own way without the tracks directing her path, oh wait did this place have a job board she could do a local job for some quick cash real quick. She hadn't thought so at first but being in a guild is really convenient wasn't it?
"Eh?" Atrum blinked as Roxy pointed out his drool and started to reach for his face before Bellua offered him a napkin. He nodded and picked up the napkin to wipe off the apparent drool. "I suppose that is a rational assumption, I haven't felt this hungry since was back in my homeland." He said lowering his head into his arms resting while h waited for his food. He heard the two talking again, but he stopped paying attention instead choosing to dwell on Bellua's time comment. Well with as many strong fighters there were there he couldn't deny that there was enough energy to do something crazy, but he doubted there was some sort of catalyst. You would need that for a time event to happen, well he assumed, he knew about a much of time travel and it's intricacy's as that waiter knew about life or death combat and it's intricacy's.
First plate would arrive in thirty minutes, that was thirty minutes of waiting with his stomach acting like it was eating itself. He closed his eyes and rested he had to waste time for thirty minutes and he couldn't focus on conversation, besides sounded like they already had a subject they were working on. Hells he can smell the pork roast already, did he order appetizers? God please tell him that he ordered something that would come out immediately so he can at least put a leash on his hunger. Why couldn't he remember what he ordered? His stomach grumbled as he stared into the table he briefly considered gnawing on it before putting that thought out of his head, he didn't want that particular rumor coming back to bite him. Oh great now he was mentally making eating puns. His brain was entirely too stuck on the food. Hopefully, the food would be brought out soon and he could focus like a normal person again.

"Heheh. I er, appreciate it," Roxy flashed Bellua a grin, perking up almost immediately. She was still probably going to have to wait for the chefs to stop panicking to get an order in, but at least now she might get some food of her own. If she ate it a good fifteen feet away from the man that was currently fading away next to her. She almost wanted to poke him just to make sure he didn't slump down and start drooling on the table while he waited on his food. "See this just means we're going to have to meet up again soon," Roxy insisted to Bellua. "That way I can take you to dinner and pay you back." Smooth.
About that time, the first seven or so plates arrived, balanced carefully on trays between two waiters. They at first started to put the plates down in front of all of them, but then the actual waiter who had come to the table stopped them, mumbling something about not wanting to get eaten by the giant man. They quickly moved an entire table over next to Atrum and started piling the plates that wouldn't fit in front of him next to him.
"Ohhoh~" Bellua's brought her hand up to her face to make the cat like grin she had on her face appear a bit softer and less predatory. She just had one of those faces in her opinion, made it hard for her to have a nice beside manner. She was getting better at at it though, a hand in front of her mouth to help make her seem a tiny bit more vulnerable, a softer expression in the eyes so it didn't look like she was sizing you up for a meal and most people felt more at ease. Useful in social functions, not like they were all perfectly honest anyways. Right now she was just trying to be casual and lowering her enthusiasm seemed a perfect way to help the overall atmosphere of the table, she was glad Roxy was perking up as well. "There's that smile I was hoping to see again."
"We better, because I'm going to hold you to that Roxy." she said before glancing at the food the waiters brought Atrum. "Oh, wow... I am going to be incredibly disappointed if he can't actually eat all that." She said looking back t Roxy, at least everyone was going to get something to eat today. She would probably have to keep her food closer to her side of the table and... He scared he waiters enough that they would be nervous bringing food not meant for him near him didn't he? Bellua sighed shaking her head, she turned towards Roxy. "Did you imagine you'd find a time traveling Giant in serious need of feeding when you woke up this morning? Because personally I was just expecting to run into a ghost at some point." She said the laughter in her voice not hidden at all.
Atrum stared at the plates as they were delivered to him and picked up the silverware, yes he was ravenous, yes he was more than ready to just rip into his food but instead of simply tearing into it and tossing food everywhere he instead chose to be efficient with his meal Taking the large chunks of food and shredding them with intense focus and speed when the food was prepared he began eating the pieces were mostly small enough to eat without much chewing involved.
To call these actions eating would be inaccurate, and misleading. He was more inhaling the food than anything else and he got calmer the more he ate gaining a rather serene disposition as his stomach now had something else to feed on. Well he wasn't in pain any longer but he was still hungry, he kept devouring the food in front of him making sure to spill as little as possible. With how hungry he was he didn't trust himself not to like the food off the table and what not. Better to simply not spill anything rather than act like a simpleton. Still he was so happy to be eating again, for some reason it felt like he hadn't eaten in years. Why was that?

"You know, I'd like to say I didn't expect to find a giant to feed," Roxy teased, unable to quite stop herself from watching how fast the mountain of food was disappearing. Her own food had been finished in the time it had taken to set out all of Atrums, and she'd only taken about one bite of hers. "But I did have a fortune cookie that said to be on the lookout for big opportunities... and they don't get much bigger than Atrum here."
The amused grin didn't vanish until the redhead felt the need to take a bite of her food again; her own eating despite her disposition was rather, well, proper. She took small bites and chewed slowly as she was taught to do for her whole childhood. Why exactly she'd never shaken that habit... well, maybe it was impossible to just give up everything a person had been taught. Who knew? "So, you're about three-fourths through your food and nearly also took that poor waiter's hand. What else did you need to know from us future dwellers?"
"You got that right, people don't normally get that huge." Bellua nodded grinning broadly before turning to Roxy, her smile shrinking as she felt they were going to talk about something a slight more serious. The Jewel contents of their wallets. "So should we pay now? Looks like he's slowing down a lil' bit." She asked before turning to the giant. "Oh yeah, you have been gone for four years and you seemed really intent on figuring out what happened earlier. I know far more about outside events than I do Fiore's recent topical events, I heard that Valland made a new war machine that was ultimately failed and that gave my homeland of Arbeless more of a spring in their step." She giggled she had no real loyalty to her homeland but her parents still lived their so the fact that the placed hadn't been burned down or conquered yet.
"I suppose Roxy here will have to give you more information about Fiore, hehe, should've paid more attention to those information gathering lessons." she shrugged eating her plate now she hadn't giving her own food much attention, neglecting her plate in the presence of a starving man wasn't a good idea. Oh this was interesting, she was kinda more interested in what happened from the big guy's perspective but that could wait, until he felt better. What she had heard wasn't too clear anyways, figures he was practically dying when she saw him. "It's always fun to learn new things, if it's interesting." She added before giving a bit more attention to her plate.
Attum lifted his head from his food and stopped to think about what he needed to know, the state of Fairy tail was important but it seemed like his guild was doing fine. Well there was how the fight ended officially. that would be pretty important if they was a body for his hated foe. Any important events he might've missed in the meantime, information on the new comers, new organizations that have filled the power gap the fate of Shadow heart. Yeah that was a good start.
"Well If you remember any of the specifics to the fight, like how the press dressed it up, how it 'Officially' went down would be nice. Or if you can manage it point me in the direction of where I can find out the detail myself if you don't have them." He said pausing to put some more food down his throat. "I am also curious about the new kids on the the block. saber Tooth and the others that has risen in the absence of the magic council and Shadow Heart. If any of the guilds from my time have disbanded as well." He paused again but this time it was more of a moment of quiet reflection than another chance for him to stuff hi face, not that he didn't take the chance to eat more.
"Before I forget has any other trouble happened while I was gone? Four years, things got kind of hectic when I was still around but I somehow doubt that nothing happened afterwards. Did I miss anything?" He asked, his voice wavering with his last sentence. He wasn't consciously aware of his real question. that if there were several major disasters that he in his absence had failed to help others in. How many people he had failed because he wasn't around. He couldn't help that he was a big soft hearted fellow. "Ah, not that I expect you to know, but has either of you seen my brother recently? He runs a magic shop out of Crocus, looks a bit like me but definitely a more...average size."
