Roxanne is what many people would want to put on a poster for an ad to join the Templars – crimson-haired young woman with fair skin and a piercing gaze. She’s got an undeniably feminine physique and facial structure, though she looks both strong and confident, which only enhances her looks to certain people. She sports a single earring in each ear. Her skin is fair and unmarked by neither time nor battle. [break][break] Roxanne wears whatever she feels like wearing from day to day. She's got a certain personal sense of style, but is perfectly capable of wearing whatever she deems appropriate, from her Templar uniform to her somewhat skimpy 'casual' clothes. She has little shame but isn't lacking in taste, which helps to balance it all out. Her eyes are daring and have a certain feeling of coldness to them, despite their red coloration.

Roxanne is a born rebel, a girl who’s every motive earlier in her life was to tear down the life her rich and opinionated parents had prepared for her against her will. She hates authority, and more than that she hates when she isn’t given a say in her life. She can take orders, but she makes it clear to all that she will handle what she’s told in the way she wants to handle it. [break][break] Despite her rebellious personality, somewhere inside Roxanne is a halfway decent person. Not that most people get to see it, She’s loyal to her friends above all, and even the money and hedonism she claims to love are nothing compared to the select few she chooses to call friends. [break][break] Roxanne might be a lot of things, but a slacker isn’t one of them. When she puts her mind to something, that something is going to happen no matter how hard she has to work. It’s for this reason she has the respect she does in her guild… not to mention the fear. [break][break] She might like alcohol a little too much, and can often be found drinking during when she's bored. She has a tendency to flirt with pretty girls when she's drunk, though she's at least somewhat classy when she does so.

Roxanne had what one would call a privileged childhood. Her parents lived off of the riches of the old Fiore kingdom, a former Duke and Lady who had amassed enough wealth to continue to pretend they were still royalty in Fiore. It was how their parents lived, it was how they would live, and how Roxanne would live as well. [break][break] As a kid, Roxanne didn’t care so much. She was spoiled, but it was bound to happen. As long as she had what her heart desired, she would go along with what her parents thought was best. She was groomed to be a Lady, to have the manners of a noblewoman and to eventually marry the closest approximation of a nobleman her family could find. [break][break] That didn’t last, however, as Roxanne entered her preteens. She slowly began to realize exactly who her parents were and what they were. She resented the fact that she was expected to be quiet, pretty, and have grandkids for her family to fawn over. She resented the fact that they supplied her with riches to keep her satisfied and never question their family traditions. [break][break] In the end, she did the unthinkable to her family – she rebelled. Anything and everything her parents would hate, she did. She learned swordplay, she played sports in the streets with kids, she even taught herself magic by convincing the servants to help her in secret so she wouldn’t be stopped. She drove the nail home when she started sneaking girls into her room for fun. [break][break] When she was sixteen, she ran away from home, joined a guild, and learned to perfect the magic she’d been studying. She'd been improving steadily with her hi-jinks and jobs for the Red Blades, and was showing promise a large amount of promise as an up and coming second-in-command for the new guild leader, Truth. [break][break] The path in her life changed recently, however, when a jealous rival guild mate ended up getting her captured by the Templars. The Templar's captain gave her an ultimatum when she was brought in: To work to make up for her transgressions as a Templar, or to go to jail for a good, long time. [break][break] Left with very little choice, Roxanne became a Templar. She was forced to partner with someone who could keep an eye on her and she was in turn given her freedom, at least to a point. She's promised to do her job, but she chafes under authority. Time will tell if the job will lead to a reform, or to her doing more harm than good.

Roxy has acually improved a great deal when it comes to her attitude and alcohol habit since joining the Templars, but no habit dies easily. She still likes to drink and rebel, it's just less destructive when she does.
Roxy respects the man that gave her a chance to join the Templars, even if she won't say it.
Roxy fears going back to her family. She has changed a great deal since she left and doesn't wish to face whatever impressions they might have after her life of crime.

Name: Requip: Knightblades [break] Element: Fire/Steel [break] Description: The Knightblades are each one of several powerful swords in Roxanne’s arsenal. It’s a greatsword-sized crimson blade or a longsword-sized black blade sheathed in flames. Its form determines the boost Roxanne gets, with the larger blade giving her greatly increased strength and the smaller increasing her speed and reflexes.
