Raven felt the shift right before she barrel rolled. Part of his fight with Draco had been an air battle, as Raven had to ground the great wyrm before he could finish the fight. He was being nice and not actually going for disabling moves on Pyrath. The goal was to show her he wasn't as helpless as she wanted to think he was. Not kill her.
As such he found himself hanging upside down, struggling not to give into his urge to suddenly flare up and prepare his experimental flight spell. It was a very poor time to test it, even if both dragons were using wind magic. But as they rolled Raven had a wicked idea. One that Pyrath might not be too excited about. During the roll, when they were upright he managed to roll onto his back and grip her scales to hold him on there.
It was right about then that Tyr decided to antagonize Pyrath. And this only added fuel to the proverbial fire in Raven's mind. His plan was simple. He would use his magic to push Pyrath far faster than she could theoretically control herself. And it had the added affect of forcing her to go straight or up. While bad for Raven... it still asserted he could control where she could go if she didn't want her tail fried.
"Crimson Dragon Roar!" He announced it loud enough for Pyrath to hear as the magic circle formed in front of his face. The magic he let out forced him back, the spiraling fire vortex that shot out being the driving force, and in turn pushed Pyrath.
Pyrath felt Raven shift around but did not give it much thought as she was mildly impressed he actually stayed on her back as she barrel rolled. She was enjoying the feel of her wings slicing through her air, even if there was an extra passenger upon her back. The tap upon her noise had her maw splitting open in a wide grin. Her wings swooped down hard as she concentrated on catching Tyr. Ears twitched back as Raven shouted. What he shouted had her eyes widening. There was little she could do as he let loose and suddenly she was propelled forward. To prevent damage to her wings, she kept them back and still.
As seconds passed, the speed increased. To the point that her wings, despite her strict form, were beginning to vibrate from the velocity. Her maw, which had been smiling, now lifted in a silent snarl. She was fast approaching Tyr though. As they flew past Tyr, her tail tapped Tyr’s wing. The movement, though so little, was enough to off balance her and their precarious flight. She was tilting left and moving upward on an incline. Having tagged Tyr, she let her dragon form go. Pyrath’s tiny human form replaced the larger form. Raven’s hands which had gripped her back scales, now gripped her sides. “Fly little Raven.” She shouted over her shoulder. With a sharp elbow to the side, she escaped his grasp and began to drop. Arms outstretched, she began to spiral, green tinted hair flying in all directions.
Tyr felt the tail tap, which obviously wouldn't hurt her tough dragon hide even if it were harder than it was; it reminded Tyr just how squishy humans felt when she was running around in skin like theirs. Of course, not even a millisecond later Pyrath rocketed forward with Raven at speeds dangerous even for sky dragons. Pyrath was smart though - something Tyr had always thought - and she returned to human form midair in order to more easily squeeze out of the dragon slayer's grip. It would have made Tyr chuckle - if she wasn't instead changing her plan from winning the race to catching her sister and the human.
Just as Pyrath started to fall, she landed on Tyr's back between her wings. Raven was caught in her claws, and she dropped him off in a nearby tree with a dragon-like chuckle. She did one circle before landing on the ground, assuming human form not ten seconds later - just long enough for Pyrath to have jumped off. "Heheh!" she covered her mouth as she glanced in Raven's direction. "That was hillarious, Pyrath. I bet he's mad though~"
