"I am listening," Hawke shook his head. Bowing to a higher station is what Fiore was trying to move away from. But either she didn't get that, or didn't care. Either way, that attitude was going to stir up old wounds. And stirring up old wounds in a country full of people who were whole heartedly willing to fight was a bad thing. "You're just the one that doesn't get it."
"And maybe it'd be easier to handle if you didn't just instantly brand a person with a name like dummy just because you don't agree with them," He shrugged before linking his fingers behind his head again. "Here in Fiore, childish behavior will get you treated as a child. That's just how people are here."
He stopped talking for a moment as he caught a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye. It was at an angle Pyrrah wouldn't see since he was in the way. But he'd seen it, that momentary glint...His expression became a little more serious and thoughtful. That was faster than last time... "Since you're on a journey, where do you plan to head next?"

"Yeah well everyone here is really weird, so I guess I'm not too surprised. I swear all the nice people I've met weren't even from this country. Besides, I'm not childish. I'm a dracoknight and I'm a responsible adult girl even if you refuse to see it." Bloo almost sounded like he snorted there. Yeah she was old enough for adult responsibilities from where she was from, but it was pretty common knowledge amongst most people that she was, in fact, rather child-like in her behavior at times. Usually when she was upset or stressed.
She, of course, missed the movement, though Bloo didn't. His head twisted in the direction of the flicker, which he began watching suspiciously, not yet sure if he should be growling out a warning. His little drake eyes moved from the spot to Hawke and back to the spot questioningly. "I'm going where a lady named Razhiel told me there might be things like what I'm looking for - The Templar headquarters." She nodded to herself. "I was waiting to see if I would come up with an idea, but I couldn't, so I guess I'll just go and ask them since they might have something that's mine."
"So you're off to Grand city then?" Bloo had noticed too. That made things difficult. And annoying. And a bunch of other things. Why they couldn't just leave him alone was beyond him. But, to make his life easier he resisted the urge to scoff at what she said about being an adult. "As luck would have it that's my next destination."
"And I'm probably leaving in the morning," He had enough time for that. He just needed to go to a different inn for the night... Someplace they wouldn't expect him to go. That'd buy him until morning. At least he hoped it would. His eyes shifted back to the alleyway, but they seemed to be gone. It could be coincidence, but he'd left town over less before.
"At least the Templar are nicer than the last group we had protecting Fiore," He said with a small nod and a smile to match. Though he'd avoided the templar for the same reason he'd avoided a lot of other things. It's likely that they'd have to detain him and give him back... but what better places to hide than right in front of them? "The worst that'll happen is they won't have it. They're a pretty honest bunch in my experience."

"Wow, Fiore has a whole group of people who can be honest and nice? I was beginning to have my doubts," Pyrrha nodded to herself knowingly, deciding that Hawke probably didn't know what proper people acted like, especially if he thought people wouldn't recognize important people. They still had a government, right? Whatever, some people just didn't understand. She couldn't expect all boys to be as smart or understanding as her brothers.
"Wait- you're going too?!" Pyrrha hadn't caught what he'd said at first, being too busy thinking about how he didn't get her. Pyrrha sounded both surprised and unable to decide if she liked the idea or not; she was currently annoyed with him again, after all.
"Yeah, well what if I'm not leaving in the morning? There's a lot of places to investigate around here, you know" Mostly shops with food or clothes or adorable little toys she wouldn't be caught dead actually buying but liked to stare at.
Bloo let out a small bark, though less warning and more telling. "Hm? What do you-" She looked back at Hawke suspiciously. "Are you trying to stalk me? Bloo here seems to think you have ulterior motives, and I can't have some pervy guy distracting me from my mission you know."

"Yes," He said with a slightly more flat tone. He didn't want her like that. And Bloo needed to stop giving her ideas. He had a good reputation damnit! Something he'd built through a lot of effort unlike being spoonfed a knight like position. "And no, there's no ulterior motive."
"And I don't really care if we leave at the same time or not," He said shrugging with an exasperated look. He honestly didn't. He'd hoped to avoid the whole suspicion thing by being up front about where he wanted to go before they even left this time. ...Even though he was kinda lying about the business there. He could find business there if he wanted to. And it was two different things.
"I just wanted to avoid the whole suspicion thing," He said shoving his hands into his pockets. Sarcasm laced his voice as he continued. "Since, you know, the guy who heals small children for free is totally suspicious and going to steal everything you own and do unmentionable things."

"Oh don't get your panties in a bunch. A pretty girl like me can't be too careful you know. And you Fiorians are all weird in my experience so who knows what strange moral code you have! I'm an innocent flower, you know!" Pyrrha smoothed out her blouse, idly admiring her new choice in clothes. They'd look so out of place at home, but here they were perfect for those days when she didn't want to be a dracoknight for some reason, be it practicality or simply blending in better. The fact that her accent wasn't really that different from Fiore's helped.
Besides, back on subject, Pyrrha didn't so much not trust Hawke as she wanted to know why Bloo seemed concerned. He was keeping it low key so that meant either he didn't want someone to know, or it wasn't that bad. Either way, it wasn't the teasing kind of chirps he would have made if he were going along with something someone had said for fun. Stupid not understanding drake speech. If she could have asked Lady Belfyire for one power...
"An innocent flower maybe," Hawke was doing his best to shrug off the panties comment. He knew who was following him, and he knew she knew what he was like when he was growing attached to people. Being overly sarcastic would just put Pyrrah in danger that would only slow her down. He turned so he wasn't looking at her or Bloo. "But I'm sure that spear of yours isn't the only fighting style you know. If I was that kind of person, I wouldn't go after you because you'd struggle to much. People like that want easy targets."
He looked carefree, but he had an eye on the people around them. He pulled his hands down and shoved them back into his pockets. Well, two of many. He almost didn't need a backpack as most of what he needed was in his pockets. He did keep a bag of medical supplies around for when it was impractical to use magic, rare as those cases were. But that was back in his room. "But that's beside the point. I leave in the morning for Grand City. If you want company on your trip, I'll be hitting up the north gate after breakfast. If not... well, chances are good we won't run into each other there. It's a pretty big city after all."
Pyrrha chuckled at Hawke's reasoning for not 'going after her.' It was accurate, and rather flattering from a knight's standpoint. And in a roundabout way he admitted she was cute too. She wasn't going to tell him that at the moment, not now that he'd suddenly dropped the sarcasm. Bloo continued to look around, letting out little chirps occasionally as if to call out to the object or person he was locked onto. Pyrrha was paying attention to him, but she couldn't do anything if she couldn't see it. Plus, despite what Hawke said, she was a lot better with her spear than hand to hand, especially without the assistance of her jet boots.
The dracoknight thought for a moment, staring up at the overcast sky above whimsically. "Weeeell, I guess you can come, since you want to badly enough to ask me like that," she grinned, still looking into the sky. "A guy like you will be a good deterrent from bandits and stuff who like to prey on cute girls anyway. Plus you can buy me food once we get there. But no loafing around! I am too gentle of a flower for staying in the wilderness all the time, you know." Really, she was just prissy and liked fancy, man-made dwellings and amenities.
