Atrum's perception started to fade as his sister's knee repeatedly slammed into his skull, and his world went dark. He had no idea how long he was out but when he woke up he felt something soft and furry propped up under him. Feeling like his hat had been split opened and turned his head and rubbed his hand against it. It was the Vargr looking back at him panting as they rested in the shade of a tree. He blinked and looked around his head slowing down as the pain flared as he moved.
"(Oh, Lil' bro, you're awake!)" He heard Neala's voice sounding slightly surprised. "(That's sooner than I thought, your furry little friend there came out of your pack there and tried to claw my face off. Your little Morro packs a punch you lucky bastard. I thought Vargr's were extinct.)" Atrum shook his head a tad flinching in pain again. This sucks, this really sucks. She really did a number on him.
"(Ow, well looks like there are some of them spread out and about the world, I was just lucky when I found her. Hey so you finally chose a name for yourself? Morro? Nice name.)" He said shrugging as Morro licked at his hair. Well now he had spit in his hair, awesome. "(Thanks Morro.)" He said giving a small sigh.
"(So you seem really annoyed. Cheer up you're pretty strong. I mean you have enough reserve power to pose a serious threat.)" Neala said replanting the area Atrum had ruined. She must have spent the entire time he was unconscious fixing up the area of the damage from their sparring match.
"(It was nice see you again Big sis.)" Atrum responded turning over and closing his eye's and deciding to get some rest. "(I am not normally this tired after a fight I think I'm going back to sleep.)" He said burying his head in Morro's side. Time for a bit of rest then.
"(Good night lil' bro.)" Neala said grinning and picking up her parasol she gave the Vargr a smile and patted the vicious creature on the head. "(I'm gonna go get us some food so keep that idiot safe until I return with the food~!)" She practically sang as she strolled into town she headed for a food stall picked up two large baskets and set them on the counter giving the distressed woman at the counter a charming smile. "Please fill that up with as much food as you can, fit in as much, oh and plenty of pork I am cooking for my little brother and he eats like six people." She said the woman nodding slowly and getting to work on it. She twirled her parasol as she waited thinking she got a good haul. She tossed the stall owner a medium sized bag of jewels and took her baskets and went back to the field where her brother laid sleeping.
"(Time to cook!)" She said, setting the baskets down and setting up a camp fire and a make shift oven with available resources, lots of pork like she asked, chicken, and veal! Cool! She had plenty of washed vegetables lucky score on that and bread. She had brought supplies for the meeting beforehand so she reached into her prepared bag cooking supplies and pulled out the pots she needed, stew and roasts sounded good, Atrum would like that. She got to work quickly and before long the smell of cooking meat filled the air. "(Don't worry Morro I got some for you as well, how do you like it raw, rare, medium, well done? I'll cook whatever.") She said spinning a ladle in her had getting a light growl from Atrum's canine companion. "(Can do!)" She said getting back to work.
"(I SMELL FOOD!)" Atrum said rising to his feet suddenly staring around his eye's locking on the food stopping down in front of the food Neala was cooking drooling. His stomach grumbled rumbling violently as he stared at the cooking food, his mind hasn't caught up yet. Food has woken him from his slumber and his body moved without thought, his body went back into a sort of hibernation his eyes drooping until the food was done. He'd stick to his slumber until then.
Morro clearly annoyed by the giant moving got up and walked over and laid down next to Atrum propping herself against his back and getting comfortable there was a long moment of silence as Neala stared at her brother who seemed to only be partially conscious. Weird. Morro seemed to be fine just sleeping next to him.... Well then moving back to cooking, time to throw in some chopped onions for Atrum's meal and make sure than none were in Morro's At least everyone was more or less happy.
